Default 3:55's

Anyone need a set of low mileage rear end gears?

I changed out the 3:55's for a little more quickness to the 4:10's.

How do you like the ratio? I recently went from 3:31 to 3:71 and really like the difference.

JB34,
Are these for a 8.8 and if so what is low mileage and how much?
I would be interested for the right price.

The powerband on my new motor runs from 4K to 7K. While the car ran great on the street, it was less than ideal on track days. I have the 295 gear cluster in the tranny and I had to wait, what seemed like forever, for the engine to get into the powerband on a lot of corners. I think that this should do the trick.

The 3:55's had less then 2K miles on them and my mechanic told me they were looking good. He said I should be able to get $100 for the set easy. The 4:10's from Ford were double that, so I would be happy with that. Let me know.

I bought my Ford Racing gearset (4.10's) for my 02 Mustang GT from Gene Evans Ford. I paid $139 for the set brand new. The other ratios (except for 4.30's) are the same price.
