Temps here around 18 degrees. If I was not helping a friend pick up his new kit on Saturday, and I had the spare funds, I was thinking perhaps the Florida Keys, or maybe Aruba.

Hey, I have a suggestion! Never done it, but heard some scooter trash talking about it.
I-10 west to 85
south about 4 miles to Old US 80,
south to Gila Bend,
Maricopa Rd. to I-10 about Firebird Lake
150 miles round trip
Or.........maybe something around Florence?

Jim,
I'm up for it on Saturday.
I like either one. If we do the 85 route we can give the bird to the convicts holding that girl hostage. We will need a meeting spot.

Groovy!! Mike, maybe your side of town, take the 101 down to the 10 to 85. Or, if we do Florence, Globe, we can meet on the east side. I don't care where we go, let's just GO!

Jim,
We can meet at the first rest area on I-10 after you pass The loop 101 in West Phoenix. This is the same place we meet for the run to Knotts.
What's a good time?

Hey guys just a heads up at the end of each month the DPS and Pinal's finest tend to be out between the Achin and Wild Horse Pass. Since they put the new houses in they have a large source of monies to recover in speeding tickets. My radar detector has paid for itself many times over going down that road daily. Great road to open up a tad if no piggies are around. It is open range so watch out for the Wild Horses. I have only seen one that was hit since living in that area. Mostly dead coyotes scatter the road and it is strange but it seems to be a dangerous road for Catholics, shrines all over the place

Jason, maybe you could create a diversion. Perhaps a large explosion out somewhere. How's your C-4 supply?

Mike, sorry we didn't hook up. The first rest area was 30 miles west of the 85 road. I pulled onto the 85 and waited on the side of the road. From your email, it didn't sound like you were going. i was @ the intersection of I-10 and 85 from 9:30 -9:55. Where did you go?

I got home about midnight. After all those hours at work I really needed the drive.
I was already at the rest area by the time you got to I-10 and 85. I thought about stopping on the side of the road and waiting there, but pressed on to the rest area. Another 30 miles was easy.
Did anybody else show up?
Mike
