Default Weekend Run?

Sun, or Mon.? I think any road going to a lake this weekend could find us behind a boat. There is a route I heard about. Check it out on a map. Superior, 177, Winkleman, 77, Globe. About 150 miles round trip from AJ. Any ideas?

Hi, Jim. Great idea but my turn to work the weekend. Maybe next time we have low 90's weather at the end of May (never!).

Hey Mrpink, that is the drive that I've been trying to get Mikiec into. A few of us Tucson guys did it about a month ago and had a nice time. We stopped at the casino for an hour and then came back via Miami, Superior, down to Winkleman and home. The drive south from Superior to Winkleman is, I believe, posted at 55 mph and we did see a cop going the other direction.. It was a scenic drive all the way with nice elevation changes and a few spots to get on it. Watch for cops between Miami and Superior. The next time we do this run we'll leave earlier and drive the main streets in the old towns of Superior, Kearny, Globe and Miami. I'm sure that in one of those towns there is a nice resurant hidden away waiting to be discovered by a bunch of Cobras. Remember to wear long shirts, hats, and lots of sun lotion. A couple of bottles of water will be needed. There are gas stations and markets in each town. Have fun. John

Jim, take it from a guy who has sampled a few burritos. go to the guayos el rey in miami on main street across from the swimming pool or the old el rey in globe if you like it hot. the old hamburger joint on hwy 60 in miami has great food too. man, now i'm starving.

Sean, You mean Hamburger House. Great Mex food. I don't even think they sell hamburgers.

Sean, you seem to know all of the " hot " spots. On Sunday, June 6th come on down to Tucson and show us where to eat in Patagonia, Sonoita, or Nogales. John

Class for what? Are you still trying to be a gynecologist?
I thought that was a mail order class.
