Hey, Fitz..
Have you sold the boat yet? You're gonna need that money to pay for gas in the new ride. By the time it's ready gas will be 10.00 a gallon.

Gas?
Forget about the gas, I want to see how you are going to keep it cool in the summer? If it is anything like mine she will run hot! Fitz what are the specs on the block? looking to get Bob B. in the rear view?
At last! company at the gas station! I was getting tired of stoping alone!
Sounds like fun!

As far as over heating goes, talk to Bob B he has solved all his overheating problems with his BB. During the parade in Heber on the 4th. He ran nice and cool.
Fitz, if you want to see Bob in your mirror you better add some juice to that beast.
Fitz, What's your budget for rear tires??

Boat is actually for sale; for a very high price but I don't think I will get the price I am looking for so I will be boating for awhile. You guys need to make a run up there sometime. The price of gas doesn't matter as this is just a play toy. If I was worried about gas, which I think will hit $2.50-60 for premium before it is all over; but then again gas for the boat is well over that per gallon now. (thanks to the idiots who won't let us drill in the states and eat the damn raindeer in Alaska). Like Dennis Miller says, "are we just going to stare at the mountains and watch it snow for the rest of our lifes" Or drill for oil and gas so we can tell those sand pounders to eat dirt! Anyone that wants to fill it up for a ride is welcome. That is the reason we sit and drink at the dock which is better for the heart! Bull #hit is easier to understand that way.
The Hot Rod air conditioner v the Vintage air conditioner may do the job especially with a hard top. I remember running the "green king" on our way to Sedona for lunch and almost had him but that torque big block did me in after 60mph. Of course the wife was yelling at me. Why do they do that? It was fun though.
You will have to ask Gordon about what is in the engine. Jim is right, you can read the graph print out Matt prepared. We will see how it compares on the dyno.
Worried about what kind of stereo I am putting in now.
Tires are going to be Yoko or Pirellis I think on 18" rims. More to come. Hopefully the car will be around for Crusin on Central. they were shooting for Labor Day but "it won't walk by then"

Bob, how did you deal with the heat. I am going to have Gordon's guys insulate the firewall inside and out; possibly wrap the headers and make sure all the little wire holes are glued shut. What else to do???????????????????????

I forgot to mention I have in storage 4 17" Sumotomo HTR Z tires with about 7400 miles on them. I switched to the HRR Z II for a track event. The rears are slightly larger of course. I think they are 45s but check with Gordon to be sure. Someone want these make me an offer. My new car is going to have 18s on them so I can not use them.

Hey Mikiec, Do you have those cores for me yet?

Is there a cruise in tonight on your side of town? Where? I might roll the clunker out since the temperature's only 94°.

Jeff, I was giving Mikiec crap about the color. I am going with a 2004 Mustang Firered. I wanted something very dark and slightly cobra different with Black stripe and small white on black border. Haven't seen this color so far; now watch at the next event there will be 5 of us or something. I am getting crazy not having a car to drive but then again it is so damn hot it would be sitting in the garage anyway.
Brian, she won't drive it but I am working on her. You know the routine, "Easy honey! Don't do that! Shift now! Wait to Shift! Watch out! Can your foot touch the brake?????????????????? Holi Crap, do you see that stop sign and cop??????? We are going to die!!!!!!!!! Changing the tire is AAA and she would tell me to rod iron up my ......

silver paint ?
Fitz and Mikiec,
I was given ya each a little gig. I ask mikiec why after all the hard work to build his car he got cheap and lazy. Ya know clear coating primer is just not acceptable. Sure the clear coat does reduce fingerprints and such BUT spend the extra 100 bucks and put some color on the old hot rod.
I choose a very rare and exotic color scheme for mine, you don't see too many blue and white cars out there.... I wanted to be unique like I think you do too.
