November 5th-6th-7th
To all Arizona cobra members that own Factory Fives, I have just been informed that Ginny and I will be attending the gathering in Vegas this year. Something about Ginny wanting a ride in the GTM.
Anybody else up for the trip?
Mr.Pink could you post this over on FFCobra?

We're thinking about it. My daughter's severely "with child" and due around that time too. May be able to kill two stones with one bird.
In fact they're in NLV, not too far from the track.

We hope to see a lot of the Arizona guys in Vegas that weekend. If your planning on coming please fill out the registration form that is on the web site www.westernroundup.info We are using this list to get personalized credentials printed up and to make sure that we have sufficient arrangements for the barbeque and banquet. Our banquet room will only accommodate 300 so you may be disappointed if you don't register. Just a reminder, this is not a closed event for FFR's, only the FFR's will be judged in the show but everyone is welcome to show there car.

I may want to go if all the bugs are gone out of the new car. Wondering about gas; will have the fuel safe tank but probably going to get about 8 miles to the gallon depending on what carb ends up on the toy (1000 cfm?) See latest pictures of car in making. Shooting for Oct 1st now?

Since my wife is such a big gambler I should be able to swing the Vegas trip also.
Are you guys gonna drive yours there or trailer them?

Doc,
Trailering is never an option unless the car is broken

Well guys, if you can tell me how to get 3 days of clothes for me AND my wife JoLeen in the trunk of the Cobra then maybe I wouldn't have to trailer it.. HA
Besides, I am planning on running around the track at Vegas on Saturday with the NASA Group, therefore, I am taking my race stuff: 4 extra wheels and tires, helmet, drivers suit, shoes, gloves, air tank, etc. I just can't see how I can get all that in the trunk!
SO I'll be trailer to Vegas this time! But I can assure you we will be on the day cruises on Friday and at the track on Saturday. I'm excited to how my BDR will handle on the Vegas oval asphalt.

It starts much easier; runs smoother; but the coughing and snorting of that carb set up makes it worth it. I did the other way with my 347 before I voted not to carb and then voted to carb. (Reminds me of Kerry). Now I guess I will have something like a 850 to 1000 cfm carb. $$$$gas; Is it ready yet?
