Default Who do U report banking scams too!

I am selling an enclosed car trailer and a scam artist has been trying to reel me in. He 1st said he would pay me today but needed banking info. Then I got this email. I would love to bust this guy bit no idea who to report this too. last email below
" Hi jeff,
I called my customer to inform him that you've agreed but he said that he wants to pay for it with a refund payment of an antique car he did bought earlier for $25,000,the guy he bought the car from is insisting on making the refund payment at once through wire transfar. so my customer is susgesting if it will be alright if the payment is made to you and when the money gets into your account you will send the balance $17,000 back to him.
Plz get back to me if this arrangement is ok with you with your full banking details
Thanks,
Dave

Sorry for calling you Dave. I should have read the post a little slower.

Did this guy give you an address where he is from? Name is most likely not correct either. If so, take yur dog and go visit him.

No problem Bob,
Sorry Ron could not resist, I do have a phyco dog called THE LAND SHARK and that would be fitting. Since first posying I have recieved 7 more along the same lines. MrMustang has recieved a bunch of these and found they are overseas so chasing them is a waste of time but the pooch idea sounds good.
I did find a site to report these scams too so reporting them made me feel a bit better if the only good it does. site is - reportphishing@antiphishing.org <reportphishing@antiphishing.org>

Jeff,

I have been called much worse. What is this that you got thrown out of speed world because someone else was going to fast. Hope the report does some good, but they are probably swamped and these people change their locations and ISPs daily it seems.

Ron

Ron, our Club was drag racing at a local track. They had given us warnings about not allowing runs quicker than 12.0 ET. or second violation would get asked to leave. Karlos and I were going to make full passes as it was go home time anyway. We traded lanes so he could get a better photo and away we went. I lost traction at the starting line and smoked my way down the track and Karl made his second sub 12 pass in the 10"s so at the time slip booth they chewed my a$$ and gave Karl my time slip. He and I laughed all the way home, but he owes me for taking his butt chewing now!!!

Jeff,

Now that was a great story and he has to have that, I'll get even thing hanging over his head until you do. The longer you let it go the better it gets. A hint here and there about possible revenge could go a long way toward making him wonder.

Karl and the entire gang are great folks and I damn lucky to be part of the Cobra community. Before playing with Cobras I raced drag boats and fuel cars for a cheap living as everything went back into the next blower ,clutch etc.. I have learned people who enjoy life and find ways to do it with friends - Cobras, racers etc.. seem to be the cream of the crop. I am proud they let me play with them and the give and take history is what it is all about. I"LL get em sooooon!

Jeff,

I couldn't agree more. I was never any good at drag racing but kind of grew up on road racing and that is my favorite. But at any kind of race track, you are going to meet great people. And the Cobra group as a whole is one of the friendliest I have ever ran into while at the track. And also on this club with the one minor exception.

Ron
