Even though it's only a very short drive from my house to the auction I do not go. Why? I might find something I like and have to sell the wife. :) :) :)

I am going; not sure when or what? Going to Val lay ie park to. Don't like walking in all that mud and crap 20 minutes from the entrance. Anybody giving away free tickets in Phoenix?

Wow, going to Barrett-Jackson looking for a bargain is like throwing a rubber ball at a brick wall and hoping it sticks. You'd be better off going to one of these to buy. You go to B-J to sell.

I believe there is another thread involving a wager as to the selling prices of certain cobras. May want to dig those up before the auction.
Bret.

Thanks Larry. Some folks get tunnel vision and respond with a you don't know what you are doing attitude. It is fun on the auction floor as well- there are sometimes bargains there.:)

Hey newmexico, stop by the Shelby booth and say hello. I will be there with CSX4266. We can discuss our travel plans to Reno in May. Looking forward to meeting you!

Roger that. I will be the guest of Roush and Anthem who will have a booth at Russo & Steele (maybe J-B). I'll look forward to seeing you. Is your trailer still available?

Yes, you have reserved your spot for the WSCB trip. We need to find one more Cobra to fill the trailer.

Slither- Remember, tenative on the trip to WSCB. My son is graduating from Penn Law 5/13 - 17. That cuts it very thin. Please fill it up if you can. I will keep you informed.
Mikie- I won't have the Cobra by the Barrett-Jackson week. I'll have to use yours.

Sal, nothing is going to be cheap in Scottsdale near Westworld in the winter. I assume you will have a rent a car. If you are 10 miles away, I think you could get something for 60-80. I would suggest Yahoo yellow pages.

The map portion shows the locations. You could see where Westworld is and the hotel. There is nothing east or north of Westworld. But south Scottsdale or west of Scottsdale (east Phx), should show you quite a few. If you need anything, let me know.

Nothing is cheap- for sure. Best I could do close is the Marriott - Scottsdale North @ $189.00. Maybe further away?

Nothing wrong with Ramada. Was never @ Econo lodge. Probably like a Motel 6.

I almost always go, mostly just to look especially this year. Every car will be sold without a reserve. Sounds like a person might get a deal BUT in the past the deals are the ones with a reserve that didn't sell and then go on sale out in the tents or grass. Good Luck
