AZ Cobra's are INVITED
The Copperstate Mustang Club would like to extend a personal
invitation to all AZCOBRA Club Members to attend the
Copperstate Mustang Clubs BIG car show on April 2nd at Earnhardt Ford in Chandler, Ray Road & I-10. This is our 2nd largest and best show of the year and we'd love to have the AZCOBRA gang join us in the fun. We will have 150 Mustangs there, along with a new 2005 Mustang GT Convertible on display.
The COBRA Club is welcome to come and enter as a CLUB DISPLAY
at NO-CHARGE. Cobra's will not be judged, therefore there will be no trophies awarded for Cobra's, only Mustangs. It's a fine show and we'd love to have you all join us.
PLEASE RSVP by emailing me <jmichaelhall@cox.net> so we can get a count on how many cars will attend so we can set aside enough space for you all.
We are also have a FRIDAY NIGHT DRAGS event for Mustangs & COBRAS at Firebird the night before, Friday April 1st. And we'd also love to have you come join us in that event as well. Gate opens at 6 p.m.
Come DRAG race some Mustangs! (again please RSVP if you plan to attend so we'll now how many to include in our special line-up)
I hope you can join us. Call me if you have any questions.
Your friend,
"Doc"

Doc,
What are the requirements for the Drags?
If we need to meet NHRA regs we cannot run faster than 13.99. Firebird knows we all run faster than that so they will not let us on the track.

I'm not sure of the answer Mike. If you've had previous experience with that issue then you probably know the answer better than I.
So come and make a few runs ABOVE 13.99 then make a LAST final BLAST and go for it! OOPS! Sorry guys I broke-out a little. HA
Doc

Or, you can run the east track with pro auto sports on Friday as well as the weekend. 20 minutes of fun versus 13 seconds? I will be there on Friday, anybody else going? Scott

I will keep the street tires on it, but I would love to give it a shot. I don't know if I can get it to run as slow as a 13.

Hey Gordon, we'll run it against my Shelby and try out the new rear end. OK
By the way, it's leaking and needs to have the nuts tightened up on it I think.
Got time to do that before then?
Doc

That's an easy one, just bring it by when you have a moment. We have been a little slammed around here lately. As soon as I can I want to get the Shelby in to do those qtrs. Gordon

Scott I had to miss the last ProAutoSports event since it conflicted with a wedding that I needed to attend, but I think I will be there for this next one. Give me a call if you get the chance.

Hey Scott,
Planning to run one day that weekend, but Friday is a work day for me. I know that Clay will be there Friday and Saturday. I believe that Brian has plans for one day there too.
Doc, what are the hours of your event?

Track on Saturday
Hey scott I will be at the track on Saturday with Jim, time to see if the work I have done on the suspension has paid off. Also want to see Jim run with the strongest motor he has had in his FFR.
Have fun,
Brian
