Unhappy Fingerprints...

Hi guys-

Got my Cobra all legal today - these cars are such a blast!

Quick question: I have midnight blue paint and it shows any little fingerprint/handprint/etc (some people can't seem to resist touching the finish). Is there a product that spot-cleans these so I don't have to get the car washed and waxed every third day? I found fairly quickly that a damp cloth (diaper) doesn't work.

Thanks.

Rain- What kind of wax or polish are you using? I would think that a good wax or polish would let you wipe off the fingerprints; after all, the 'prints are on the wax/polish.

Mr Rain person
Every major auto wax company has a "Final" spray for touch up. I use Meguires Final Touch or Final Spray or Last Touch. I am sure Mothers, Eagle, Zymol, Zaino, etc all have equal items. Easy task with Terry Cloth or Micro Fiber Towel.

Meguires works for me. Lately, I have been plagued with dust off the road. I got these super soft clothes that are lint free, work very nice to wipe with.

Mequires quick detailer is good. You spray it on for small spots and fingerprints.

I use the MaGuires Quick Detail also. Fact is, it's all i have ever used to wash my Cobra.

MeGuires Qucik detailer and Wet Paint are what I use. Both work great. Wet Paint works on glass and chrome and takes off any bugs or prints in seconds very easily.

Thumbs up

I use Magiuer's Final Inspection. Best stuff they ever put in a bottle for car finishes.
If you want to make your own detail solution then take one part Armorall to three parts water...Spray and wipe with a clean cloth. It really works.
