Has anyone else any weather worries besides me? I checked at:

http://www.srh.noaa.gov/data/forecas...city=Flagstaff

and they are saying snow??? Luckily I have a contingency plan in the 66 Mustang (complete with roof). Is everyone else still going?

Steve

Default Rain....

Rain, not a problem... Snow, not a problem, 32 deg w/wind chill now that going to be cold!

Barb and I are leaving around 8am to get up to Seligman a little earlier this year. Bought plastic to cover the inside of the car just in case. Should be a blast dress warm as it is about a 20+deg weather change! If anyone else is leaving earlier let us know and maybe we can hook-up...

Later,
Brian

Steve, No problem, We will not be going anywhere near Flagstaff.

Brian, If you leave early then Fitz will not have a gas stop buddy.

We have reservations at Cruisers in Williams for 22 people at 7:30PM

Whoops! Brian, how early? Let's see, 6 miles per gallon devided by 22 gallon tank (better make that 20 gallons to be safe), better add some more safe guards for altitude and hills, = 90 miles per tank. Hummmmmm!

Fitz,

Don't worry. Plenty of fuel stops along the way.

Default Early.......

Hey Fitz...
We were thinking about 8:00ish from Queen Creek, so that would put us at I-17 and Cave Creek at 9:00ish, So I was thinking about 3 hours earlier than the rest of the group. We wanted to take our time (check out the gas stations) and enjoy the ride up to Seligman and spend some time there until the rest of the gang caught up to us.
If you are free, hook up with us and we can drive up together, after we get done at the gas stations they can close up and go home. (rich)

Letus know....

Brian

I figure with both of you on the road at the same time, all seismic monitors in the western US will be going off.

Fitz, we will wait until 12:30pm If you are not there I'll figure you went with Brian.

Please phone in the fuel stations you used as there won't be any left for us.

Mike

Brian, I will talk with the boss about it and give you a call. You may want to wait 1/2 hour or so to avoid the rush hour crap! Mike, I will be there or ahead of you. Email me with your mobile phone and I will call you and let you know for sure Friday AM.

Got the car back tonight. Loaded and ready to go. Still haven't decided when we are going. late or early. I will call Brian if we are leaving early in the morning, otherwise the group at noon. Gordon has his guys get this toy going after installing a crank distributor. Way to go!
