F5 Coupe progress in chandler
Hi guys
It's been awhile since the last update, So here is the scoop so far, the car is a dark blue pearl, getting ready to have a headliner and the windshield installed, then the car comes home for drivetrain and final wiring. Lots left to do, I will post again when I know for sure the return date from the bodyshop. I probably have at least 3 or 4 weeks worth of work after the car comes back before I can go-kart and I will need help removing the nose to facilitate final drivetrain/aluminum install. When the time comes, the pizza and soft drinks are on me. Thanks for all the help and support. mannyjoe |
Just give the word when you need help Manny!
I spent the weekend fabbing up the undercar exhaust on mine. Discovered that a 15+ year layoff doesn't do anything to improve your stick welding skills. Still, I got one side layed out and tacked together without making any holes or lighting anything on fire. |
Manny,
Say the word and if I'm in town I'll be there. Mike |

I'm in too. Not sure how I can help but I'm there. |
Thanks guys! I will let you know when I hear from the bodyshop.
So far I really like the progress they are making, the upholstery guy starts this week and the windshield is after that. I will keep updating as it gets closer to completion. Again, thanks for the help and support. mannyjoe |
