Phx vs Tucson
The first Phoenix vs Tucson challange was a success. 11 cars from Phoenix and 8 from Tucson met today. The victors were treated to a $2.00 bill from the losers to spend at DQ.
Pics will be posted as soon as the gang gets back. I fear for the Tucson gang as they are being led by Wrong Way John.
The Phx gang has issued another challenge for some time in the fall. A new trophy will be awarded to the victors.
Oh, the Phx gang won.
Mike

Mikie,
You really gotta give ole" Tucson John credit. He made his challenge and lost. Paid out like a true gentleman.
John I commend you for a well planned and enjoyable cruise.
I think we shocked Maria's Restuarant with the high turn out but they were really pleased and the food was great.

Oh, I do give John credit. He handled the defeat with a minimum of .
I'm going to use what John gave out to create a trophy plaque to be handed out to the winner of the next challenge.

We need a report on Bill's M car problems.

It was great being with the Tucson gang again. They really are a great bunch of people.
I look forward to our next gathering with them.

BRING IT ON MIKIEC !!! A Fall Challenge sounds great. Maybe a Dairy Queen in Bagdad, (AZ of course). Thanks to all of you who made the trip worth while. It is always neat to drive thru a town and have everyone stop and watch as 17 Cobras drive by. I tried to keep the speed down and only hit 110 once and 100 the second time, as I recall those were in the slow passing lane in 50 MPH zones. You guys kept up beautifully. The people at Maira's Restaurant were very nice and the food was worth stopping back again for. I wonder what the DQ is going to do with all of those $2.00 bills? AND, Mikiec - did I show you what it feels like to not know where you are going ? The excursion in Superior was for your benefit. ( Maybe they won't let me lead now either). Bob B's photos came out beautifully. Thanks for posting them so quickly. Bill Markley made the necessary repairs and made it home OK. The Tucson Cobra gang say THANKS to all of the Phoenix guys. John

John,
You did a great job and I seriously think our fearless leader will have to work hard to top it.
Thank you again for taking the time to plan this out so we could enjoy a great time with good company.

John - in a couple years I'll escape Topeka and bring THRAMP to bolster your numbers by one. (Every little bit helps.)
Drive on!

Tim,
Looking forward to when you can join us on a regular basis.
Hersh, fearless leader... Remember they won't let me lead or give directions. Actually the view from the back of the pack is the best.
John,
I'll check to see if bagdad has a DQ.
I do think there needs to be 1 requirement for these challenges. We must end up at a DQ.
Glad Bill made it back OK.
