Mike,
Glad to see that you beat us to those temperatures. With any luck, maybe we won't have so many days this Summer in the 110+ range. It is the humidity that we have the past several years that really makes ours so miserable. Now if we could just get that to move to your area, I could stand the high temperatures. Highest I ever saw it here was 121 many years ago, but no humidity. Now at 115 and with the humidity it seems more like 125.

Official temperature in Boise Idaho yesterday was 101. But it was a dry heat you know. In Idaho anything over 100 is HOT and it doesn't matter whether its dry or humid. No, I didn't have an urge to drive the Cobra. My big block heater just works to well in 100 + weather.

Hey, Dick..
Just got to work... 8:45am. 101.
Ron, I did not realize you guys got that hot there. I figure we can put up with it for a few months. Then great driving weather the rest of them.

Mike,
Almost every Summer we have heat warnings telling older people to stay inside as much as they can. We have had a few heat related deaths over the years, but not that many. Most outside work, like roofers and such change their hours to work at night. But it doesn't last as long as it used to since the humidity has gone up. Not sure what to expect this Summer as they were moving in extra planes and such expecting a really bad fire season, but these late rains may have helped with that. I sure hope so as the past two years have been really bad.

Low 82*, high 112* and you guys in AZ will probably agree that the best way to see what dry heat is like is to stick your head in an oven. Ron would probably says stick your head in an oven that has a pot of boiling water in it!

I see now that I was mistaken when I said it was hot last week. That was still springtime.

Question - is it common in the summer for your windshield wipers to melt to your windshield?
