Default Bringing in an out of stater....

I have a question about purchasing a Cobra out of state. If the original registration of the Cobra in that state is dated 2002, 2003, or 2004, will this be a problem in AZ when registering it or will they backdate the registration/title here to 65'? Thanks

No problem.

They will require only level1 inspection and then they will give it a new title here. Tell them it is a 65 or 66 Cobra to avoid emissions. They title replicas here as what year they represent.

Search for previous discussions on this. I was nervous since I did the same thing, but it was easy and in hindsight, all my worrying was for naught.

Default Inspection

I bought a B&B in San Diego and went to our MVD. After 4 hours and a level II inspection,($25.00) I left with a 1965 cobra assembled vehicle registration. I got the Historic vehicle plates
and a $20.00 a year renewal fee . Geez I live Arizona!
