Default shortage of red cars

I just got back from my painters and have a few photos of the Dodge Viper red with Caddy artic pearl white stripes on my Hot Rod. These shots are before the clear coat so you can not see the true color or luster.
I saw a car with pearl in the red and white and loved it but the white was almost pink in the right light. They promised me mine would not have a pink tint on the white and it does not so I am very happy!!! The clear coat has since been laid down and the colors look just great. I can not wait to see her after color sanding and a little buffing because it already seems to be 2 feet deep from any angle.
Doubleulgy just got his back from the shop also so we have 2 more red cars in our area now! My chassis is done but not sure when I can take the time to put her together but I can not wait even though it seems like about 160 degrees outside right now

TO many red cars here in Hawaii, and TO often with white stripes. THATS why I went with a 'blacked out' hood, which I think looks terrific!

I DO love the red\white stripe combo, I should move and get one! Glendale sounds nice...

Jeff

The Cobra looks good there. The stripes will really set the red off.

Talks soon

Bernie

All right Jeff! You are getting closer. Nice color/pattern choice. Also known as Arrest Me Red and Resale Red.

AZ Bob - yes I took the Baby out this morning - all is well on earth.

Back at ya, Ernie- Bernie and Bob,
Ernie come on over to Glendale as we need another red car and the black hood will let us see ya coming. Do you still like the white sidepipes? I should ask do they stay white or take a bunch to keep white?
Hey Mate, Hope all is well. Sorry I missed you last time you were here in town. Sometimes just too many things on the list to get done with too little time. Thanks Bernie and see ya soon.
Bob, Did we get rid of the off idle stumble and is the throttle response what it should be with that monster? There is a couple more tricks in the old bag if we need to tweak her a bit. Tell BABY I am still thinking about her. Might want a plug check with the new jetting ( due # 8 if you get a chance.
I hope to have time to work on my Toy but need to get a couple finished before I would feel good about working on mine. Cathy keeps saying I should take a 1/2 day each week to work on my own stuff but just too little time. I am going to take this Sunday off completely (dads day) .... well until 5 PM when my daughter leaves for work anyway so can get a little time in this evening.

A most excellent choice in color. I have no shortage of red cars, 2/3 of my cars are red.

Side pipes are VHT paint and I like the white. When they need touching up sometimes I simply use a 3-M type abrasive pad on a spot here and there. A fine layer of paint comes off with the pad like 'chalk'. Occasionally I touch them up with another light coat of paint. Easy maintainence.

I've been wondering lately if black side pipes would look better with the black hood since I had that done. With painted side pipes (and the wheel covers) you can change your mind on any given day!

We need more RED and less Silver cars around here...

Congrats Jeff. Soon you will be able to travel with the gang.

Thanks Mike,
I am not sure WHEN she will be done but am looking forward to going on upcoming fun runs. This next one will be able to run on pump gas so I can actually go farther than half the distance the fuel cell would get me. The last engine was getting almost 5 miles to the gallon and the cell held 18.2 gallons so Hersh's home was about my limit without bringing fuel.
This next car is going together with a hair dryer on a small block and I am shooting for about 15 MPG on good old pump gas.
