Painter
Anyone know how to get a hold of Jeff Miller from Temecula, CA? I'm ready to paint my cobra.

AJ...
Why send your car to California, when there are many excellent painters here in AZ?
Yes, Jeff does good work, He can be contacted through FFCobra.
However, if done closer to home and issues pop up, they can be dealt with much easier and sooner.

I was very well pleased with Auto Pro Collision in Chandler. Fine attention to detail, good people, very nice quality, reasonable pricing. Just don't be in a hurry.

The guy that painted all of our original resotrations is awesome and knows cobras. His name is Gary and his number is 602-327-8170. Tell he Mike from NOS sent you. He will also get the car done, he doesn't mess around.

I hear it's MUCH more expensive to paint in CAL...better check it out if you're thinking of sending it there.

Painter's
I've visited Jeff Miller' shop (I'm currently checking out painters for my Hurricane) and can tell you that I came away with a very good feeling about his work. Virtually all he does is cobra replicas and he's a real perfectionist!
He quotes approx $5k for FFR.

Both Jeff Miller (Ca.) and Gordon Levy (Tempe) do beautiful work, but they were beyond my budget.
I used Extreme Auto Body in Phoenix, for both my F5 cars I was very pleased with his work. Got way more bang for the buck than I expected. Ask for Manuel, ph.602-276-4397

I used Gordon to paint my car almost 6 years ago. Still looks like it did when I picked it up. Very nice work. I have seen Jeff's work, also nice.. Both of Manny's cars look very nice. Karls, looks great except for the ghost bow-tie on the hood.
If you need emails from some of the Tucson gang to see what's down there.... email me and I'll send some to you.
The choice is yours.

I was SOOOOOO tempted to go with blue with white stripes, but decided that since I'd gone a bit different with the drive train, I might as well have a unique color. The bow tie just had to happen.

Da Bat........
AJ..........others here are right.....there are good painters out there.......but, as Jeff does only cobras.....i delivered my car to him 2 days ago........and after talking with him and seeing how he works........he is the man, if it is close enough for you! AS for the Calif question on charges........eht EPA can be a bit of a bother.........so that is why Jeff is located way out in Temecula........he would have to charge much much more if not!! That is why , for his $5k charge........you get the best for the most reasonable..........up to you, as there are good guys out there, as I mentioned........but boy, he is great!
good luck................................
fred.
