The Launch Pad
As a ritual the Launch Pad is part of annual Xmas Party at Hersh and Paula's' home. I have ball doing the burn outs as this as close as I get to doing them since I don't race anymore. Hersh was saying it took several months for the black strips to fade from last years.
Did anybody tape them this year and who were some of the better ones laid down? Mike and Hersh have been judges in the past, how did we do?

Jeff.. Jerry got a video of your last burn-out. He was standing by the garage.
I got this one but I was at the end of the lot.

Thanks to all those that honored my launch pad with some nice long marks.
Ahhh... the smell of burning rubber.
Jeff, I think these marks are going to last a little longer than the last time. That line lock is really something.

Hey Hersh,
It looks like the group striped the pad pretty well, and 2 of those are mine. How about a cheer for Hersh, how many of your other buddies let you do burn outs down their drive way. thanks again for a great day.

Fitz...
The backwards parking puts you in a very exclusive group. Just you and Pink. Pink did it a few years ago at Crusin Central and remember they cancelled that event.
Now, how do you feel?

Hey Jerry,
Mike mentioned you got a video of my departure on Hersh's launch pad.
Would you mind sending me a copy or link. I think it was good for a hundred or so miles of tire wear from the rubber stuck to the fenders. It was a great time with great folks as always.
Take care Jeff C

Dave,
I suggest we block his exit so they can not leave and what the hell may as well use the pad while blocking him in.
When that dreaded time comes Hersh would never ask for any help loading the bigger stuff as he is just that way. He is always up for a party so maybe we could fool him into our help and make it a loading party. Not the normal GET LOADED routine but whatever works.
