New Years Day
Ok, who is dragging their dead hungover asses out of bed to do the drive? Let's get a number? I need to know how much to drink if I am going to do the drive. None of this I am going to show up speech (like I usually do) and then not come.
Ok, names addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, bank account numbers......

I'm planning on making the drive again, as long as its dry. My sweetie says she'll come along, but I'm sure that could change if its too nipply.
BTW, she's really happy with the pink tool set, and shows her appreciation accordingly. One of my better decisions!

I heard back from FFR today and they suggest I remove both front shock assemblies and verify some stuff. Hopefully I can get that done and have it back assembled by the First. If so, I'm a go. Eskimo woman is a definite 'Maybe' at this point.

Hey guys, remember some of us are new and haven't been on this run or know where things are without draging out some maps. How long will it take to get there and back?
Thanks

I'm thinking its just shy of 2 hours from eastbumbscrew Mesa to Wickenburg. Something like that, anyway. Shall we divise a meeting place and have an East Side caravan?
Mesa Dave, Brian, Tony, Jack?

on one of the runs a couple of years ago...
A wife's question :Mike, how fast were we going?
Mike's answer: I don't really know. About 75MPH through a few of the curves.
Wife goes over to her husband, smacks him, I'm never going to ride with you again!!!
Husband comes over to Mike... Thanks now I can have more fun.

Ok, now we are beginning to get a few. You know you all want to get out of bed; look out that window and see if your family car is out front, lost, misplaced from the night before. Then for you Sin..gle types, you want to slowly turn around (while you are in bed) and see who is lying next to you. Kind of like that commercial on TV with the guy handcuffed to the bed and hears someone in the shower. Or did Cobra 1 Dave send me that. It was funny! So all of you drive that toy to the run...

I think it was last New Year's Day that a bunch of us met at a Walmart parking lot just south of the 60, but of course I don't remember just which cross street it was. Too many years and too many beers. Brian, where was it? Wanna do the same place this year? Be ready to leave the parking lot at 8? That should get us to Wickenburg in plenty of time to grab a cup of McDonald's fine fine coffee.

Wasn't that just off the 202? Maybe like Greenfield?

Sorry, yes it was off Greenfield on the 60 freeway. Thier is also a gas station across the street with great prices so you can top off before hitting the road..
So take Greenfield exit then go south (left from the East, or right from the West) it is two lights down on the right side of the road. Gas station is across the street on Greenfield (may be better to meet there?).
