AZ Club Questions....
Hi All!
I'm going to start my build ..a Hurricane, shortly and was wondering about all you guys and girls in Arizona Cobra Club. Is the AZ Club a special group that is organized on it's own through the Cobra Club, or is it all the cobra owners located in AZ that just get together and have fun with their cars. When I'm done with my build it would be fun to get to know you all and meet up and do some crusin around the state. I live in Lake Havasu City, so it's not too far to drive anywhere in this state to meet up. Another question: Is there anyone in Havasu that is a member of the AZ Club?
Anyway, if some of you could point me in the right direction it would be must appreciated.

Welcome Bill,
We have often been called a special group but for many different reasons. A short email to mikiec here on the board will get you on the mailing list. Mike donates a lot of hours to keep us pulled together and informed as do others.
Mike may also see this soon and give you a PM for email address's. The local board address is http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/arizona-cobras/ here on CC. Good luck and enjoy your build, hope to see you at one of the deals. jeff C

The club motto gives the basic idea:

Bill, join us for some events even before your Cobra is finished. Get to know the people. No dues, no meetings, we even let people with Chevy motors join us! :-)
Check Club Cobra for events, like Sat Jan 20th. I'm sure Mikec will add your name to the e-mail list. Here is his e-mail address: mikec@holsum.phxcoxmail.com

Oh Jeff...watch out for incoming. You might just touch a raw nerve, expecially of anyone with a broken car, right now.

Karlos,
Give me a call when you get a moment. I talked with a buddy of yours about possible coil bind and wanted to talk a bit more with him and you too. THANKS Jeff C

Thanks you Guys, it already sounds like your having fun. I look forward to getting to one of your events.....or non-events, or even a parts run.
I'll E-mail Mikec for somemore information.
By the way I'm building a Hurricane, with a 428FE from Southern Automotive and a Tremic 5-spd trans....I hope I won't need too many replacement parts out on the road, maybe I'll just carry a large spoll of bailing wire and chewing gum.
Thanks Again, Bill Bess

Bill, Double Bubble gum was always the best for me, back in the days I drove FoMoCo. Welcome to the madness. I've heard nothing but good things about the Hurricanes. Bet you could squeeze a big ole RAT motor in there if you really wanted to go fast and keep a bunch of dollars in your pocket

I'm staying out of this....
Bill, I hope you have thick skin. There is a Hurricane finished in Tucson.
Jeff, I still need Lee's number. Ginny wants to send the Hedgehog his way.

Mike, my Hurricane isn't quite finished yet.
In fact, I'm backing up... switching the rear suspension to IRS.
But soon!
