Default Car names

My daughter thinks I should name my car. I have named some of my cars before but not for many years. "The Cobra" seems to work OK for now. Guess I'll wait and see if I get inspired. My 13 yo daughter wanted me to ask people if they have named their cars. I feel like all cars should have a girl's name eventhough this car is far from feminine, (except for the shapely curves).

I named mine "Candy", everyone asks me why and I tell them it is because she's so sweet!!!

I have a name for every one of my mustangs, so I could not let the Cobra be different.

My wife and teenage daughter were standing there the first time I drove into the driveway. My wife laughed and said, "You look like Stuart Little!" So, "Stewie" stuck.

My daughter, on the other hand, said, "At least you didn't run off with a 21 year old aerobics instructor." Smart kid.

My wife named our Cobra "Hissy". The plate reads HISSY. She likes it and that's what counts.

My Cobra is red and my wife has always refered to it as " The Redheaded Mistress" . Can't say that I can argue with about that either.

My coupe is named "Mia." It took so long to finish it that it originally stood for "Missing In Action." Now it stands for "My Incredible Automobile."

Pepe. We had a contest in the Dallas group, at my very first meet. Here on CC we had a contest "name Kristen's Cobra". About 20 names were submitted, and from that list, Pepe le Bleu was the winning name voted on by the Dallas group. Pepe le pew.... Pepe le Bleu....I put a stuffed Pepe (skunk) on the hood every time we go out.

He's a boy; I'm a girl.....

The Mustang is "Gus". I got him from Steve, in AuGUSta, Georgia.

The new Shelby?? hmmm. don't know yet. Probably need to have a new contest!!!

Arrow The Hole........

My wife affectionately calls it "The hole in the garage that Jerome pours all of his money into", or just "the Hole" for short!

jdog
P.S. 'Baby', is what I call her, when I'm talking directly to her.

Either of them!

My wife told me it had to be a womans name, like Elenor or Bessy, so I thought about it for a while. I still haven't come up with anything that has stuck, but I like Medusa, as my car is green, its a snake, and once you start looking at it, your stuck there just staring... seems kind of goofy I know... but I am having a hard time coming up with anything else...

"The Red Head" seems to stick the most from the wifey. I tend to just call it "The Beast."
