Questions about Lister
Need4Speed, I looked at a Becks kit today in Chandler but all that was there was body, chassis, and differential with wheels. Cost seemed a bit high . Did you buy turnkey or a kit ? I was wondering what came with the Beck in kit form. I am planning on looking at the Dragon kit in Carlisle and I talked to Muscle Motorcars. in Noth Carolina but I don't think they will be there. I will give you a call shortly I would still like to see a finished Beck. Thanks

Hi Ironman,
Who had the Beck kit for sale? Not many around. Was it a private individual or a company? When I bought my Lister directly from Beck in 2002 the prices were: Basic Kit: $14,900 I think I paid about $25K for a painted roller with headers, side pipes, instruments and interior. Avanti raised the prices some but I don't recall how much. Shoot me an email or a PM and I will give you my phone number. Alan |

I met Chuck Beck yesterday at the car show in Carlisle. We talked for about an hour about the Lister and "the old days". He only built 30 cars and pretty much remembers each one, he remembered yours. I will be buying the one in Chandler when I get back. I would still like to see yours and talk to you. Send me a PM or E-mail me your phone number at studioiron@hotmail.com. Steve |
