Default CNV display at Knotts

Another great show at Knott's sponsored by the AHA. We were on the front end of row B. or just across from the FF camp. We had a red with white stripe demo car and 2 customer builds on display. Vic's small block powered car was Guardsmen blue and pearl white stripe left with a 2nd place trophy in the 30K Cobra class, congrats Vic.
I am sure more of the AZ contingent grabbed awards but not sure of the details. I need help with names and class so jump in here guys if you know the details. It was a great time as always. Thanks AHA. Jeff C

Jeff

Thanks for letting me join the fun at the Kit Car Performance Day! You have the best handling Cobra I have ever driven, actually drives better than my Corvette... probably because it is 900 pounds lighter.. What an easy car to drive.. I think we were the fastest Cobra that was on street tires through the slalom and skid pad . Thanks for a fun day again, heck even lunch was included

Steve,
I was watching the video of your runs last night for the first time. I got pumped up and almost called you until I realized it was 10:30 P, just a little late to call. It was an absolute pleasure to see the car driven to its ability, THANKS AGAIN!
The numbers will be out in the mags in a couple of months but I do think we did extremely well considering we were the only car on street tires. You saying it is the best handling Cobra you have ever driven is a real accomplishment for us. I know you have driven everything with wheels as the sign offs on your Pro License shows.
We were watching the video of the slalom run and did the frame by frame thing to see how you were transitioning the cars weight etc.. I could see the points that you tried to explain to me earlier.
You can take the car out and play anytime you want but will have a fight going for the passengers seat between my daughter and me for a couple of passes. It would be a kick in the butt to put some good track tires on her to find the cars limits rather than being more the limits of the tires as she sits now.

Jeff

The display looks great.

I knew Mulv would test the Cobra and take it to it's limits. Just don't do the Freeways with him....I hung on for my life..

Hey Davs,
Not to sure about the movie star part but I have doubled as a crash dummy a few times and I did stay at a Holiday Inn once before.
Bernie,
I am doing are part to keep them chicken sandwiches moving. I know where the chicken Mc Nuggets come from but come on and let us in on the clowns secret. Since you only sell breasts and nuggets is there a bunch of breast less, no nugget chickens running around somewhere??

Mmmm if the breast comes from the chickens breast then where the hell do the McNuggets come from..

Ever heard a chicken crow - take it's nuggets then.....

Mmmm to much information..

It's all good quality chicken as the companies reputation is one of supplying on the best ingredients.

Mmm so much for the free add - better go before the 'Moderators' take me away...

I do have a compilation of the runs done for Kit Car testing day and I am trying to copy from camera to DVD to an upload from my web site but have not had much luck. I am also fighting our new Vista roll out BTW = VISTA SUCKS ! and that is my PC version of how I really feel about Vista.
I have not been beaten completely just catching my breath to try again later.
Bernie you confused me on the sunshine comment?? Are you talking about the 3rd light stuff or .. help me and remember I ride the short bus most of the time.
