Need a good (honest) diagnostic shop
This is for my wife's '98 Windstar. Time for emissions and it just started with the check engine light (perfect timing  ). Need the suggestions quick if ya got 'em.
Thanks, Mike |
I think I found an honest group at Sun Devil Auto up by me. I've had my DD in there twice and the second time they checked it out, filled some fluid, and added dye for no charge. It might have just been a setup ;) but they seemed fair, honest, and like they knew what they were doing.
I don't typically expect good results from chain stores but so far, they seem pretty decent. Now don't get me started about "Auto Air & More"... |
I've been there too. I was pleased with the work.

Which location?
|
90th Street just north of the 101.

I went to the one at 67th Ave and Bell.
A guy I work with took his Mustang to the one at 90th St for A/C work and they did him right, also. This was a few years ago. |
As I live across the road from the one on Bell, I had them look at an oil leak on my old ranger PU. 2 trips and a bunch of dollars later it still leaked... I was not happy with their service. Finally found some vacation time and fixed it myself. Needed a new crankshaft seal.

Allright, some conflict here. This is gettin' good! ;)
Thanks for the recommends guys. I'll probably give the 90th and 101 spot a call Mon. Either that or go buy a new Prius..... |
