Heber Parade
The Heber parade is coming up in less than two weeks and I have seen very little talk about it. I know that the Sawmill Best Western is booked, but Hector told me last night that they'd just booked a room (condo, I think) at the Buffalo Ranch. Thank goodness its starting to get toasty enough to make the drive out of our 190° enjoyable.
For those staying at the Sawmill, remember your car covers. I made that mistake the first time and had so much dust on the car, Sunday morning, that I could hardly tell what color it was supposed to be. My 2¢ worth.

Karl, Where is the assembly point for the parade? I'd like to bring my car up and drive with everyone?
Thanks,

Everything has been burnnnnnnned up in the past, right?
Remember that little lady sitting in the passenger seat and her straw hat caught on fire? HOt HOT hot!

The Heber parade and the great fireworks across from the Sawmill Inn are great. The pizza wasn't bad either ... Thanks Pink.
You all have a good time. I wish I was able to go.

Dan, in the past we've met at Casa Pink and went to the parade staging road from there. I don't really have any idea where that is. I just followed the line of Cobras and wound up in the right place. Hopefully Senor Pinkster will post directions, if the plan is the same.

THanks Karl. I've got an email off to Senior Pink already. I hope to see and meet everyone there.

Yes, we have always met it Pinks... He takes on a scenic tour to get to the staging area. Beware of the grouch in the wheel chair.

We'll be going up that morning, hope to leave here at 6:30 or so. Anybody else want to meet at the Beeline station and run up from there?
Plan on staying all day and leaving at maybe 6pm to return.

Maricopa, if you leave at 6, you'll miss the pizza party and the fireworks, which have been well worth while. Amazing that such a small community can support such an elaborate display. Gotta cost them a ton.

Yeah that's a drag but we're not planning on spending the night and I don't really want to get home at midnight.
