Maybe I should take my Cobra on the next elk hunt I get drawn for? Couldn't hurt!

Does any one have directions to pinks house. I went there last year but I know I could not find it again. Thanks Greg

Casa Le Pink
Let me try: From Google Earth:
left on Mogollon off 260,
right on Meadow Tr (short distance)
left on Lodgepole Rd - long way
left on Sunrise - second block on left.
Watch for all the cobras in the driveway and listen for
Karl doing burnouts. LOL
I've been there many times.
You are welcome to follow me from the SawMill Inn.
I should at the Inn about 6pm.
AZ Bob

Hey everybody,
I have never had a car that could hall enough fuel to make this run before but am now driving a grocery getter by comparison. How about some ballpark mile or distance numbers? I know I and us Az. folk always answer how far something is in time not distance (ya drive 1/2 hour and turn on exit ## instead of exit ## is about 30 miles). So from Bell and I-17 to Pinks in very loose #'s about how many miles? From Pinks to Heber about how many more? I am thinking about a round tripper from pinks to home for a family thing, is it possible without being a real grind?

Vettestr, It's about 117 miles from Shea and Beeline to Overgaard Airpark which is past Heber and less than 2 miles from Casa de Pink. There are several places to fuel en route. Star Valley is just past Payson and about half way.

Jeff...
That sounds about right. Never checked the miles as I can go from my place to Heber and back on a tank. . Takes about 1.5 hrs from the gastation on Shea and Beeline to get to Heber. Jim's place is in Heber.
Bob, I'm getting off at 2:30-3pm. Should be able to meet you at the gas-station by 4 - 4:30

Good for you Mike. As it turns out, I won't be leaving until Saturday morning. I will be in Heber around 7:30. Where and when is the staging for the parade? Oh, and do the Cobras and those other chevy cars all stage together?

Dan,
We meet at Pink's place for breakfast, about 8-8:30am before staging for the parade. Take Bob's directions with you and just go over there when you get into town.
Or, When you get into town check to see if the cobras are at the Sawmill. We may still be there. If so you can go over to Jim's with us.

OK MIke, Does anyone mind if I bring a couple of friends along? Granted they both drive Corvettes, but we make allowances..
Oh, if anyone is leaving Saturday morning, we are leaving from Ellsworth and Brown Road in Mesa at 0530. We'll probably go by the intersection at B-line and Bush Hwy around 0545.

I'm leaving from there Sat. morning too Dan and would meet you.....but if I went that early I'd have to leave the wife at home.
We'll probably be there closer to 7:00am

Hi Clif.. I don't, but my hunting partner does. I'm just lucky enough to have keys.

Dan, I mentioned an earlier leave to the wife and she said OK. We can meet you at that gas station west of the Beeline if that works for you.

That's great. We (the vettes and I) are leaving from Brown Rd. and Ellsworth at 5:30 Saturday morning. Can you meet us at the pull off at Bush Hwy and B-Line between 5:45 and 6:00? That will save us a double back.
