Default New Cobra owner, wanted to introduce myself

Hi everyone-

Just wanted to introduce myself, my fiance Scott and I are now the proud owners of a 2004 Superformance MKIII Cobra. Actually, I think many of you might know the previous owners of the car as we saw she was going to sell it through this forum. We are the proud new owners of Karen's beautiful cobra, it is such a gorgeous car we are still in awe that we finally own one - we have wanted one for so long! We can't wait till the weather cools down some and we can enjoy driving it more and hopefully get to meet many of you guys personally. Although - regardless of the heat we are really enjoying driving it now!

Erin

Hi Erin and Scott

Welcome and congratulations! Post some pics of your SPF in your gallery here when you have time. What is your car number and particulars? Great info here on just about anything and don't forget to send in your stuff to SCOF and get membership there, additional great resource for SPF specific questions and support

Welcome Erin,
WELCOME !!! You already have the scoop for getting emails etc. from mikie so look forward to seeing you at upcoming events. You got a great new Toy and will now met a great bunch of folks that are the local crowd.
Many are off to play at the Heber parade but more will check in as they return. As a Newbie be careful of snake bites and the how quick the car can get away from you until you get more seat time. Welcome again.

Hi Erinlee and thank you for rescuing me from the "new guy" position. I've been here for a couple of weeks. These are some great folks.

The Heber parade was fun. Lots of sun and folks and "Ooh"s and "Aah"s.. I'll post some pics as soon as I figure out how.

Welcome to the Cobra club. Hope you enjoy your toy.
Best thing you can do now is take some driving lessons with your car. My suggestion is Bondurant; the 4 day Grand Prix Class. You can use your cobra for part of those days, as long as it passes tech inspection.
Have lots of Fun! Vettestr right when he said watch those side pipes or better yet just go outside and get it over with. It is just a matter of time before it happens......

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

It is car #1909, built in 2004. Engine is a 392 Stroker. I'm not sure if this picture will show up; but here's a picture of it:

Thanks for the info on the azcobras website; we'll have to send Mike C an email to get on that mailing list. We are in Mesa.

Thanks for the warning on the snake bites; unfortunately we were both bitten within hours of owning it I actually just tapped the side pipe for a second and escaped pretty much unharmed; of course Scott had to give me a hard time for not listening to his warnings. Not two hours later Scott forgot his own warnings and got a pretty nice bite himself. It's part of the initiation I think LOL.

Welcome to the unique brother and sisterhood of cobra ownership.
We are starting to get quite a crowd of them here in Mesa. Stay hydrated and wear sunscreen when you go out in this fine beast you now own.
Look forward to meeting you at future events.
Jeff
