Default Cheatin' On Mr. Pink

Little Jimmy Olsen and I have been doing early morning weekend rides the last couple months, usually hitting the road about 6-6:30am. He's unavailable this Sunday but like the song says, 'drive with the one you're with'. Anybody else interested? We've been alternating between round the city drives hitting the 51, 101, etc and trips up the Beeline to the 4-Peaks turnoff and back.

Might be fun; I've been dying to get out and do something Cobra related. Will have to see if I can get Scott out of bed that early though LOL. Do you guys normally meet somewhere?

You're missing the only nice parts of the day right now Mikie!

Erin there's noithing set in stone. Pink and I are both off Shea so we tend to go either West or East and meet up. My brother just moved back to town and is staying on the west side right now, not sure if he can go though.
Where are you guys at?

Hmm.. An early Sunday Morning ride.. Sounds interesting. Can we discuss it tonight at the Pavillions? Say around 9:00?

We are in NW Mesa; Stapley & McKellips.

How many of you guys are planning on going to the Pavillions tonight? I've been wanting to go there as well but have been avoiding the heat. What time do you guys go?

I won't be at the Pav tonight, if the monsoon holds off we'll be going to the 83rd Ave meet.
I'm up for meeting in Central Phx or the East side near the 101/Scottsdale Rd. A loop of the valley is a fun run. Up the 101, around to the 10 and back etc. (always fun going through the tunnel) but I can meet you East-siders more toward your side of town if you want.

Mikie, mikie...you have A/C. Sleep in the afternoon like I do.

Erinlee, if you don't want to make the treck to S'dale, there's also a Saturday night cruise in the Kmart parking lot, Power and Hampton, which is just south of Southern. Its usually pretty well cleaned out by 8 o'clock.

So who exactly is going where tonight? I know we want to go somewhere but don't know which one. I think we are preferring to go to the Pavillions if some of you other guys are going as well. Dan- are you the only one going to the Pavillions? Can you normally find a parking spot that late? I thought everyone got there early?

Karl- who all goes to the Kmart thing? Other cobra people as well? Are you saying the Kmart shoppers clear out around 8:00 or the cobra people clear out around 8:00?

Well, It looks like it's going to rain this evening. Sometime around 9. I'll venture down to Southern and Hampton later unless it starts raining. I don't have a top on the car so I don't want it out in the rain. I'll be at Superstition between 8:15 and 8:45 unless it starts raining.

Well darn the rain came and so we decided to stay home as well; no top on our car either.

Anyone still going for a drive in the morning? I think I convinced Scott to get his butt out of bed to go for a drive.

Sounds good! We'll see you there at 6:30. This is the first real drive we're taking the car on; looking forward to it!

Sorry I missed you guys. I bailed on 83rd Ave because of the storm but this morning Steve Vinson and and I met up and did a short drive through Carefree and Cave Creek.

You missed a good one. This was enough fun that it may turn into a weekly exercise..
