I just came in from a quick run. The sky is clearing in the north east and the rain is subsiding. I think Erinlee is missing a good bet. Come'on down.. unless it's raining, of course. See you there.

Ok, ok. We'll get up in the morning to see what the weather looks like. If it looks clear we'll head on over to the Shell station and meet you for the drive.

Hope ya'll had a good run. Mikie, Steve V. and I went out to 83rd but it was pretty much a bust. Only about 10 other cars braved the elements. It rained some, just enough to dirty up the car, but it made for a really nice ride home.

Mike,

Yeah.. The weather did put a damper on the whole thing. Glad you saw me heading to the show.

Yeah Steve has a quick eye. That would have sucked if we'd missed you guys.

Bad news about Laughlin, that's the weekend my sister's getting hitched and both the Cobra and I are part of the event.
Do I still get a T-shirt even if I can't go?

I'll be going 4th August around 7:30PM to 8:00PM if there is no rain. The prior weekend it was perfect at the Pavillions at this time, not a drop and temperature was cool.

Check the radar on www.weather.com for Scottsdale before heading out. The map in motion radar is handy to see what's up.

Well I've now been the 83rd St. show twice and apparently it rains there every weekend.

It's just our way of welcoming eastsiders...

I see over on the family channel you had some braking issues. Should have let the daughter drive.

The younger one was with me that day, she can't reach the pedals.

Jo Ellen, wifey, got in my car, albeit, it was in the old engine days; started it up. Of course her feet didn't reach the pedels all the way either . She forgot to tell me that and thought it was in "N" . Good thing I had the back garage doors open as I was kneeling on the seat next to her explaining and went flying over the trunk....Then she put it in N. She got out and said "that stupid F??<XZ? car is not all there
