Is anyone interested in inviting others to the event to try to keep the cost down?

I have a buddy with a Ferrari that would probably be interested.

Will the track be swept before we head out there?

BOB BROBERG...If you can assure me that it won't rain or maybe if you have the mrs., on the horn to tell you how the weather is , I'll be there..By the way, that drug they're going to use on me is Retuxin..Pretty successful drug I've been told...Glad Medicare is paying for it....I heard $20,000 plus.. Smile Oct 5th Directions?

Dan,

I can make it, but I am not real familiar with Chandler. If I am heading South on the 202, then what?

Bob If you take the 202 loop south from Mesa, get off on Arizona Ave... Turn left from the off ramp and head south on Arizona Ave for about 2 miles. Fulton Town Center is on the South west corner of Ocotillo and Arizona Ave. We will be parking behind the Chicago Pizza. Pull into the west parking lot. I'll have my cell phone with me.. 480-628-4045. I'll be there about 4:45.. securing enough parking places for 12 Cobras. Remember, the Carb free Pizza and Beer is on me later in the evening.

Here's a web site with a map http://www.fultonranchshopping.com/t...nter/about.asp

Dan,
I checked the map and see you gotta be a 40 plus mile trip one way. With the start time of 6PM it means rush hour traffic is going to be a drag. I am not sure I will make it, if I do it will be after rush hour has died down. Jeff C

I'm with you Jeff. Mapquest says 50.5 miles one way across town at 4:30pm. I gotta pass on Friday Dan. Sorry.
Jeff, let me know about our local Friday gathering.

AZ Bob

Homie don't swing dat way, and i ain't riden 8itch either !!

Dan,
Driving across town at rush hour in any lane sucks. I agree the car pool lane would be quicker but if you are the one to leave your car at home it gets less fun. Not 50 miles in rush hour

OK guys, Thanks for the info. I won't worry about you or the carb free pizza. Those of us who show up will just eat regular hi-carb pizza.

Dan,
Thank you for the invite. I do wish attending was a bit easier as I would like to come play with you all. Can I have a rain check for the next event? Have a great time and raise a little hell in my honor. Next time Jeff C

Gee Jeff, I would like to oblige, but Hell Raising is not on the agenda for Friday nite.. (Uh huh! Do you believe that? Would you be interested in some investment property?) You are hereby officially issued one RAINCHECK.

Perhaps you can cash that check on the 13th? Are you running Yarnell with the club?

So I went over to the Fulton Towne Center tonight, because I apparently can't read. I was the only cobra there, since the event was yesterday.

How did it go?

Steve

Steve, So parking was not an issue for ya !! Sorry I missed you but know you know the layout for next week. I did go on Friday and there were only a couple of cars. I did stop by the 35th and Greenway spot to tell that gang about it and invited them to 53 ave on Friday night.

Jason is the Mgr. of the Smoothies store and he printed up flyers that I handed out to the Sat. night group at 83ave.Safeway show. This next friday night starting around 5PM will be the official kick off night. Hope to see you there. jeff C

Fulton Towne Center on Friday nite was OK. There were lots of cars and several Cobras. Some I recognized and some I didn't. THanks to everyone who showed up and supported the event.

Steven, I'm sorry you can't read, but Jeff's right. Parking was probably a lot simpler for you than it was for us. There were Cobras scattered everywhere on Friday.

It was a bit windy and dusty but I made it there at 6 p.m. Nice cars and good to see people I hadn't seen in awhile. Had to leave at 8 p.m. for another event.
