Default Run-To-The-Pines Show

The Run-To-The-Pines Show was this past week end and we had a blast. The weather was very windy on Sat. and looked like rain any moment but we stayed dry. Sunday was perfect with the high temp each day of about 75*. Saw a few of our club members, A very sweet looking black FFR from Tucson owned by Mike? and the Gulf paint scheme GT40 owned by Chuck & Laila from Sedona (trophied = in our class #12 CONGRATS !!) and a Black n gold NAF from a Pine top owner BTW.. said he would check in with Mikiec to get club updates. We (CNV) had 3 cars in class 12 and Vic K also trophied in class #12 CONGRATS !! . #12 was pre 1973 muscle cars. A GT350 clone was the 3rd of the trophies of the class and he took 1st with a very nicely done car ! o

They accepted 550 entries this year and Linda told me she thought about 40 to 50 cars canceled / broke down or were no shows. This is one of the finest collection of cars of the shows we go to with an amassing amount of people who walk through each day. Pine Top is a small town and I think the population must double for this show, I love it.This was our 5th year and plan on attending many more. All the people are just so nice and are Car Fanatics, I had one little girl (Toni age 11) who fell in love with my red car, I let her sit in it so Dad could take her picture and that just made her day.... mine too ! She drug her family back 3 times for more photos and just made me feel really good, they were building a 32 coupe but I see a ton of cool cars in her future with her turning the wrenches on each one.

Thumbs up

Hi Jeff,
Boy I sure hated to cancel. Family matters got in the way.
I'm with you, one of the best shows around. Glad to see you guys had a fun time.

Hersh

Hello Hersh,
We did have a great time but you and Paula were missed. I have your dash plaque and paperwork from the goodie bag.

Check out your new Kit Car mag. starting on page 20 for one of the cars we had on display. I will call you later this morning. jeff c
