Dave, we have a legal spot west of Lake Pleasant.
We also shot Ruger Scout, 22 Gatling gun, Marlin 45-70, Super Redhawk 454 Casul, AR30, AR10 & AR15, Mossberg 590A1, Glock 40, S&W 9, Blew up an 8 ounce Tannerite. Fun meter pegged.
Larry, we use a Coors Light can filled with cement, about 2 lbs. Or a billiard ball but you can't see it as well and it shoots too far.

There may be a new crater on the moon caused by a billiard ball. Astromomers probably named a new comet.
I'll have a video of the gattling gun up tonight.

Breech or muzzle loaded? Propellant? Looks like a hoot to shoot.
I got to fire a 155mm a few times as a guest with a Marine artillerary group out of El Paso several years ago and it took me a week to get the smile off my face. I could see the projectile going up through the clouds, if I looked REAL quick. Their first round hit within 50 yards of the target, at 13 miles! They knew what they were doing!

I watched a Pawn Stars yesterday, when they bought a homemade cannon for 6500.00 The guy made it out of 2 inch steel and it was made to shoot bowling balls. They took it out to the desert to fire, and the bowling ball went flying.

Karlos, She is an old black powder muzzle loader. The bore is 2 1/2 smooth bore that uses a 32 cal. blank to fire the charge. Lots of fun but was used in the 30's to shoot a tow or safety line to ships in the harbor. Full charge and max elevation shots a 16 pound spear and line about 1500 yards.

I don't see the problem, it was just a pubic service announcement.

Suggested that maybe D could make me a .308 version.
Maybe, but it would be 2023 before he could get it done.

Better yet, 45-90... it would be like lobbing AAA out there.

I can't afford 45-70 ammo as it is.
