November 3rd
Last weekend while talking to some BMW guys, they told me of another road that goes to Prescott or Yarnell. I will be trying this road on NOV 3RD. The road goes past Bagdad and through Skull valley. Anybody wanting to go meet at McDonalds Wickenburg at 9:30AM.
We will not leave anybody behind that shows up at McDonalds. Seems we left the parking lot last weekend while one of our group was still inside McD.

I drove that road to Bagdad, 93 to 97 then 96 to 89 Kirkland Junction.
Make sure you have a full tank of gas, no gas till Bagdad and then Kirklland Junction.
Nice ride, good small dinner in Bagdad, the only one and in Kirklland Juction
gas station, they have hotdogs ect.
Count me in.

Count me in Mikie. Even though I used to live in Wickenburg, I have never driven that road.

I'm looking at Mapquest. Are you planning Rt 97 to 96 to 10 to Prescott?
Just curious.

Mikie, Nov 3rd is the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club Day at Speedworld. Maybe we could stop by there and see how Greg and Karl are doing? I don't know the time frame for their runs. Daytime, nighttime? Maybe Greg could post the official web site.

The runs at the Speed World Drag Day 3 November are for the most part whenever you want to go. They should be between about 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM or so.

Whoa, Mikie. Greg's link says it's a $25 fee to just watch. So maybe not.

Yo Bob, instead of just tooling up the mountain, you should come out to Speedworld and do some thrashing. I'm thinking that Jeff C is thinking about running and you surely wouldn't want the Chebby powered cars to out number the FoMoCos, if Greg is the only one willing to show up. I'm surprised that Mikiec isn't going to go out and turn his quick 16's. Fitz, don't you think its time to see what you can do?

Karl, I'd love to.....but unless I replace my tires (and the driver), I'm never going to get any better times.

I should do this some time. I have never run the strip. With my Sumo tires and 9600 miles, would it be possible to hook up ? Gordon what do you think would be acceptable? Go on the record and predict what the car could do if I got lucky.
Everything is running so well I hate to break anything.

If you are like me you are a 60 second driver with an 11 to 12 second car.

You got that right. Just had to replace "old fart" 6 year old refrigerator for the boat for $1400 plus install. This is the year of maintenance i.e. "paint the toy", ,"replace the Toy's door knob", "paint the house", "new master bath and furniture", "redo the pool", "Vacation to Italy"......payback is a ***** when you get one of these cars........according to the wifey!
Holy crap! I am going to have to sell the toy just to get back to being sane or I will have to walk around with a Safeway food cart and look for hand outs at the corners.... just send your donations
.....and then there is Notre Dame football.........

I thought "buckeyes" was something you caught from spending too much time in the sun and not eating enough vegetables.
