Colorado report..
Great time....
We had 23 cars register for the event. 30 cars total. Cars came from Nevada, California and Arizona.
As a first time event we has some small hick-ups that will be fixed next year.
We were able to show a profit, completely unexpected. The monies left in the good hands of Ginny, is to be donated to the breast cancer foundation.
We do have some T-shirts available. 1 medium, 2 large, 2 xl and 2 xxl.
Now for the injury reports.
1. Minor problem with a belt jumping on the pulley. Fixed.
2. Carb back fire resulting in blown power valve and a tow back to PHX 100 miles. Ouch to the tow bill.
3. Battery died from bad alternator (corvette). Towed to Kingman for repair.
Both 2 and 3 happened in Wiekieup. Zeke was the tow truck driver of the day.
4. New cobra owners had picked up new, to them, car from Reno and drove it to Laughlin. They would have been fine except driver tried to dim the autometer gauge lights resulting in blowing the fuse. His wife replaced the fuse using cell phone light-they were in the middle of nowhere-said her hubby tried to use her for coyote bait. Never did get the brake lights working.
4. Stretched clutch cable, mine, made it home from Laughlin no problem. I did have to re-learn how to shift without the clutch again.
5. Radiator started leaking, not mine, on the return trip. Guess what it started leaking in Wickieup.

MIkie, It was a great experience. Well thought out and very well executed. Right down to the girls in costume. I've never seen a bee with a stinger like that nor a lion with that kind of a tail.. and the chick with the silver thing on her head.. WHat a kick..

Agree with Dan.
Lots of good times, good talk, mucho BS great cars and GREAT people.
Too bad Pink like to bet on losers.
My wife still wants to know about that pivot thing. I told her that you would explain it to her.
Thanks to all who organized the show.
Hope all that had troubles get them fixed CHEAPLY.
Look forward to next year.

Ditto here. Great trip, people, weather, food, etc. All except the towing part.
Barring weather, this function will be bigger next year.

Dave,
Maybe we need to keep Judy in the dark... Afterall being pivot man is central to the male psyche...
Trctrdrvr, Mike I'll get your t-shirt out in the mail this week.

Thanks guys, I had a great time. The car did great, this was its first real long trip.
Special thanks to Jeff Classic for helping to tune her up nice. I got about 18mpg not too bad for a stroked 351W.

Hey Steve,
Glad the car ran well for you. After a little tweaking we got her purring. I was impressed with how responsive she is and now just purrs. The engine is a nice combination/set up for sure.
