Breakfast Run Sunday November 4

Is anyone up for a Breakfast run to Pine or elsewhere on Sunday?

Maricopa 11-01-2007 09:26 AM

Sounds like the Saturday (3rd) thing is a bust so I'll probably be up for it and Mr. Pink is a possible.
FH about 8am-ish (Amish)?

Danr55 11-01-2007 09:58 AM

That's about what I was thinking.. Around 8:00AM at the Shell Station.

Karl Bebout 11-01-2007 03:17 PM

How about running down to Tucson John's for burgers, brats, and beer? He lives in Catalina, which is about 20 north of Tucson. He invited the Phoenix Cobra gang a couple weeks ago and it would be a nice ride through Apache Junction and then down through Florence. Would be a different drive, and John was nice enough to invite us...

Maricopa 11-01-2007 04:37 PM

Hmm, head South eh? Seems so unnatural. ;)
I could be convinced. What say the rest of ye?

Karl Bebout 11-01-2007 05:10 PM

Its a nice desert scenic drive down through Florence, but it is poker straight and flat as a board. I'll plan on making the trip, unless I break something drag racing the day before.

Danr55 11-01-2007 05:42 PM

Hmm? I've invited some chevette guys to follow along Sunday.. Don't know how that would go over. Let me check with the chevettes and see if they are safe left to their own devices. If that's cool, I say Southward HO!

Maricopa 11-01-2007 05:58 PM

As long as I'm moving toward a place with food I'll be happy.

dave from mesa 11-02-2007 06:43 AM

yeah we were thinking of going to John's place also.
Dan if you decide not to go south i'll come pick up the tags.
Karl wanna meet someplace?
You know how to get to his place?

Danr55 11-02-2007 07:27 AM

I'm in for Catalina.. Where and when are we gonna meet Karl and Mike?

dave from mesa 11-02-2007 08:30 AM

How about the QT gas station at the s/e corner of Ellsworth & University. Easy to jump on the 202.
We can either meet up with others in AJ or head down there ourselves.
Karl shouldn't it take a little over an hr to get to his place? 20 miles this side of Tuscon

Danr55 11-02-2007 08:35 AM

Dave, We can meet at Ellsworth and University then catch up with the others somewhere in east Mesa. Catalina is actually easier to get to from the Florence Hwy. If Karl knows where this house is, I suggest we follow him.. if we can keep up..

Maricopa 11-02-2007 08:40 AM

Hey now, this is startin' to sound like a plan.
Let's all try and meet at one spot. Is the station at Ellsworth and Uni. the same one we met at for the Tortilla Flats run?
What do we need to bring to John's?

No that one is on Idaho n/o the 60. We all live close to the Uni area.
Ya think John will read this thread?

Danr55 11-02-2007 11:55 AM

Dave, check out the other post. I just spoke with John on the phone. I have directions to his home. Lunch is at 2:00. We should leave Mesa by 12:30PM.

Everyone who is going on this lunch run.. How about meeting at the Home Depot parking lot on the southeast corner of Power Rd. and US 60 (between Superstition Springs Blvd. and US 60) at 12:15PM? That should be easy even for the guys on the north side of town.

Karl Bebout 11-02-2007 12:26 PM

So, Home Depot on Power Rd, just south of the 60 at 12-12:15 for a 12:30 blast off? Sounds good to me, but I'm thinking the Idaho Rd. north of the 60 would be better in that the non-eastsiders would have a place to easily get fuel. Anything is fine with me. Should be a nice ride and it will be good to see some of the Tucson folks again.

Danr55 11-02-2007 12:34 PM

You other guys chime in and help make this call. What's easier for all ya'll?

dave from mesa 11-02-2007 12:46 PM

Idaho does have gas and most of the guys know where that is.

Danr55 11-02-2007 12:54 PM

OK. Let's go there then.. between 12:00 and 12:15?

Maricopa 11-02-2007 01:06 PM

A little later in the day than I would have liked, but it should be fun. I'll be there.
