Seven snakes went up the mountain today. Senor Pinkster, Maricopa Mike, Randy, Bernito, Bob itFitz, another Mike, and my Sweetie and I. Nice drive, good food, and great company. Kept under 100, most of the time. Mr. Pink knows the law's hideouts so he kept us from becoming revenue sources. Definitely good times.

Sorry I couldn't make it this morning. Found a broken motor mount
during pre-flight checks this am. Since this run would have been close to 200 miles thought it would be better to not risk it.

Certainly a wise choice. I went with neoprene after having the same problem and haven't had any problems since. I'd considered going with solid mounts, but was convinced that was not the best for street driving. If you do go with neoprene, its highly recommended to change out both motor mounts and the transmission mount. Good luck.

neoprene
Karl, thanks for the neoprene advise. I wouldn't have thought to change the tranny mount. Much appreciated.

Long time ago when that happened to me so G Levy put new neoprene motor mounts.
I discovered running with yellow cobra back today that I blew out a muffler for the 3rd time. A weld potted so I will have to spot weld again. Has to be a better muffler. I should have Levy put my hot rod mufflers back on.

Very enjoyable trip and the new rack made the curves sooo much more fun!
So who's got pics?

Not quite back together yet. Probably not until next week. I'm off to San Diego for a few days tomorrow morning.... Glad you had a good run..

Dan,
Are you going to visit Linda? If so, I need an email address for her so I can transfer some stuff to her.
