Spoooky
Got any idea if the parking lot is flooded? Hate to find 4"-6" of water there.
No rain here NOW either

I saw the lot earlier in the week. It doesn't seem like the type that would flood and it just started to rain up here again. The streets are wet but not flooded.

So much for maybe clearing. I am at Mt Lookout (Cavecreek & Greenway areas) Pouring then it stops; then it pours. Watch, at 5pm today it will be all clear. Sunday will be clear and sunny; R Reagan, Elvis, Jack Kennedy, and M Monroe will appear too!
By the way, the rapture happened this morning so anybody at the event didn't make it! Sorry....

We're going to chance it. Kind of waiting a little while to give it more of a chance to clear.

Checking on the list we all passed around? I would like to have a copy. Not that I will connect the dotted lines with who is who until I see a picture of the car.
I started in the Cobra and got to 101 and my fan belt started squelling like pig, quit for a few blocks then did it again. Turned around and got the truck. Now I am glad I did.

FItz, you just eat too much.. It was a great party. Either Mikie or Ginnie did a wonderful job setting it all up. (Mikie probably helped but I don't want him to bet a big head.. ) Seriously, it was an excellent affair. Good food and great company. Thanks to all who organized and set this up.
I'd also like a copy of the list.

We made it back before the rain hit again. Great time, great local, great food, great people, great Marines.

OK... Who paid the Marines to pick my car?
Ginny said they(marines) were skeptical about going for a ride. During my ride he said this is super cool. Jeff's passenger said this is better than skydiving. Both had the Cobra grin.
Thanks everyone
Mike

The smile on the face of Jeff's passenger is probably just now letting up.
2 more good Americans ruined for all other modes of transportation.

I was again glad to see that at least one of the younger generation has a good head on his shoulders and showed superior intellegence by choosing Jeff's Chebby powered car as his favorite. The other Marine made a good choice too, but I'm sure he would have also choosen Jeff's car, if it hadn't already been taken. The POWER is undenyable.

I just enjoyed the heck out of giving my Marine a RIDE. The grin on his face and his remarks is a big part of what these cars are all about for me. It is of course the people you get to meet with these Toys.
I did not get stupid but did get a little squirrelly and the wet roads just made it that much more fun. He reached up a couple of times to grab hold but nothing there!! Not sure but I bet he was trying to find some pedals on his side that were not there either.
Mikie must have done a great job because when I went done the same roads there were people standing outside watching to see what the next nut was going to do. Good job Mikie.
