I'd show up guys but I'm hoping to have a semi infront of my house dumping a car off and burying me in boxes of parts..lol :)

Tails

Tails, That sounds like a beautiful reason not to attend. Good luck with the box of parts...

Karl, I prefer something a bit more Scots that Bushmills.. Something in a single malt with an ice cube. The disention seems like it is more than just "little" but it also sounds like we win. More time to play with our cars.. Let's get together and we can try both.

MT nester 02-20-2008 04:16 AM

on my way to the airport

The cruise sounds like loads of fun. I will be flying back to Iraq mar 16.
I hope to meet all you guys in Mesa.

Danr55 02-29-2008 04:52 PM

Back to the top. This is still on for Saturday March 15. I'll be at Kirk's Sport Grill at the Mezona Inn around noon.. or shortly thereafter.. Bring chairs. We have bathrooms, food, drink and shade available.

Still haven't seen the registration forms..

Danr55 03-10-2008 04:50 PM

Guys, any of you who have registered for the MemOnMainSt. on the 15th who didn't acknowledge AZ Cobras under company name, please sound off or you'll wind up with parking spaces in San Manuel.

For any of you who want to attend but haven't registered, please do so by Thursday. If you can't register on line, you can call Linda at 480-861-8418. She will take your information over the phone. Or let me know and I will take your information over the phone and pass it along.....but you'll have to pay your own $5.00 fee.

I will have the hang tags for the cruise when you get to Kirks.. If you need a map to find the parking place, send me a note and I'll send you a map.
Try this link to the map. 250 West Main St. Mesa. We'll be in the parking lot shared by the Mezona Best Western Inn.

John-Tucson 03-10-2008 05:22 PM

I'll be there, can I pay the $5.00 there to you ? If not, let me know what I need to do now.

DanR55, I called Linda today, left a message and no return call. If we show up at 11:30 AM on Saturday is it worth coming? We dont want to park in East Jesus.
John

Danr55 03-13-2008 07:25 PM

John, We'll be in west Jesus. I think it will be worth it to come. I'll see you Saturday sometime.

RedSnake351 03-13-2008 09:48 PM

Well AZ Guys, after being down here in Scottsdale only a day and a half from Chi Town, I am ready to have my Cobra shipped down and start enjoying your beautiful winter weather. :D:D
After looking at this thread I have made a few notes and will check out your car show this Saturday, and will say "hi" to you guys.
Another coincedent is that the show's sponser has to do with early prostate cancer detection, well my trip down here is in part a recuperation from having prostate cancer surgery in January. I should be a spokesman for early detection, get your psa checked yearly if your over 50 and don't forget the "finger wave."
Hope to meet some of you Saturday.
Ralph :MECOOL:

John-Tucson 03-13-2008 10:14 PM

Ralph, Are you going to bring the thunder and lightning and rain that your friend promised ? We have had less that 2" of rain this year and could use some more. Hope to see you Saturday.

dave from mesa 03-14-2008 05:32 AM

Ralph
If you're bringing the rain plz have it wait till Mon-Tue. Our road is bad enough. Would like to make it to the show.

Danr55 03-14-2008 05:40 AM

Ralph, You're just full of fun suggestions, aren't you. I guess it's the price we pay for being he-male critters. I'm sure we all look forward to meeting you Saturday. By the way, I have a doctor with very small fingers :JEKYLHYDE if anyone is interested!%/

Mike Brasfield 03-14-2008 06:31 AM

Dan....registered for the event last night and have my confirmation number. Will you have the "pass" with you at the event site? I did put down AZ Cobra's for company. See you about 4:30.

Hey Ralph....looking forward to meeting you at the event. We moved down here from the Bay Area (SFO) about two years ago. Even that mild weather doesn't give you as many good driving weather dayes, as does AZ. Hope your "finger port" is healing.

Hey Dave....if you didin't live in the undeveloped county you would have a real road. You need to keep you car on a trailer just to get out of your driveway.

Danr55 03-14-2008 06:34 AM

Mike, I will have the passes with me. I will also have a number of registration forms for yous guys what ain't signed up yet. See ya'll at Kirk's.

steven566 03-14-2008 09:00 AM

Where do I register for this thing? I didn't see any link.

Thanks,

Steve

Danr55 03-14-2008 09:04 AM

I will have registration forms at the show. Come on down and Register there. The web site closes today anyway.. Not a problem.

steven566 03-14-2008 09:50 AM

Dan,

Are they going to do multiple runs? What time should I get there?

Thanks,

Steve
