Sorry Karl, I would be at every event if I didn't have to work every other weekend. You remember work? I worked Sunday and yes, I work the Saturday of the upcoming Mesa gathering also. Oh Well, About 3 years and I can be board like you.

Hey Guys:
I had a great time on the run to Globe yesterday. There are few motoring experiences as great as watching a procession of Cobras from the back of the pack as they rumble through the twisties along the lakeshore. I look forward to future runs.

Karl – Before yesterday I was a bit skeptical of the idea of a hybrid Cobra. You’ve got me paying homage (despite those who are firing shots at your tail lights).

We let him get ahead of us. He has a very fragile ego...

BobB, work, work? What a flimsy excuse! Its only money to keep the roof over your head and food on the table. You need to get your priorities straight and drive that car more. Does your wife work? Think she could handle a second job so you could quit? That's how I work it with my wife. She brings me her pay checks and thanks me for having her.

I think it's time for tall boots and rubber socks. The guy with the bowtie is shovelling it again.

Karl, did you figure out what was up and get it fixed?

Danr, I'd just installed a Fluidampr balancer a few weeks ago and now find that the pulley attaching bolts need to be just a little shorter than what I used on the GM balancer. The bolts were bottoming out without holding the pulley as tight as it should be. They were so close that the pulley appeared tight but loosened with time. Three new bolts, a quarter inch shorter, some blue Locktite, new lock washers, and running a tap to clean up the threads, and I should be good to go. The pulley holes were hogged out some but I think it will be fine. Time will tell.

Danr, this weekend is out. The CSK Nationals are running at Firebird and I'll be hitting that, at least Sunday. Saturday, I'll be running at Speed World, unless I get lucky and score some tickets to Firebird for that day. Then, Saturday, 03/01 is booked but Sunday, 03/02, should be a good day for a ride. Maybe down to Catalina, as you'd mentioned a few weeks ago. ??

Isn't 3/2 the Memorial show where they are making the special presentation? CAF hangar in Mesa? I'll have to check. This show is 3/2. I'll post another thread. If anyone can make this show, even as an observer, it's going to be a good one. Lots of special feelings for this young man who will be the recipient. Look for the thread about the CAF Show.
