Smile Right front upper ball joint boot

I have the coupe with the suspension being supplied by Factory Five..My kit was made in 2002 and I was wondering whose upper ball joint boot I would buy for the right front suspension.... Dave

Any idea if the coupe shares the same suspension with the roadster? If so, I found this link on ffcobra. I know it's for the newer version but I don't think they've changed the ball joint.

Great New Upper Ball Joint Boot

Sounds like a good story!! You'll have to tell me sometime.

Here are the juicy snipets from that thread:

...So mike at FFR told me they were off a Chrysler front end. Went onto Summit’s website and found these.

Energy Suspension 5-13102G - Energy Suspension Ball Joint Dust Boots - summitracing.com
.
.
.
just order 2 from kragen at 7.99 ea, part # 5-13102G
saves the shipping

Supposedly the boots from Summit fit better. The FFR supplied boots are difficult to get over the ball joint.

The post about kragen was by somebody else and there wasn't any followup so I'm guessing they were the replacements for the Chrysler boots.

Not for long. Look for O'Reilly to buy Checker-Shucks-Kragen in near future.

Dave,

The screw in balljoints are Chrysler. I can find out what year if you need to know.
