If someone wants to help me stop the tranny from bleeding I'll still make it. I think the front seal went probably because of a "NOT DIALED IN" bellhousing. S**T!

Seems to me that if Phoenix shows up with four cars, that will be more than Tucson has ever had show at any event I've been to, including dinner at John's.

I did not go last year but will be there this year for the drive and DQ. Wifey will not stay for show and listen to idle talk about cams, points, carbs, leaks, HP, motors etc.
But for free DQ, she is on the list.
Getting up in the middle of the night to be there at 8AM will be tough!
Going to have to drive with knee and drink coffee with two hands....She will have to shift.

YO, Lonestar #024!
Hey Lonestar, I'm supposed to be in Maricopa for a week starting this coming Monday for the house closing. I've got a few questions about your town which you may be able to answer.
E-mail me: Lumpee33@aol.com and put Maricopa or Cobra in the subject line, since I don't know your e-mail address.
Sorry guys, not trying to hijack this thread, just didn't know how else to get a hold of Lonestar.

Thanks, Dave, but I have already found a place. We bought a house in Lonestar's town and we are closing on it next week.
I was thinking of having the Cobra shipped before winter, got an estimate from a car hauling company, it would be $1600. to have it trucked out there. Will be trailering it probably late October, I ain't as brave as some and drive it 1800 miles.
Later guys.

Dateline, Evening edition, Phoenix, Arizona. Friday, April11th. This reporter has learned that the Phoenix area Cobra President, Mr. Mike Canning, has been calling in his chits. Heavy hitters from all over the country are gathering in Phoenix for "The Challenge" against the Tucson Cobra gang. From the west coast, M. Brasfield, from the north, L. Johnson, many "hitters" are known only by their gang names: Fitz, Karl, BP, Slither, Double Ugly, the twins, Dave and Dan. One can only guess about "Lonestar" and "Maricopa". The Clean-up man in this gang will arrive a couple of days after the event to make sure that the correct pay-off was made, from the headquarters in the Chicago area comes " RedSnake".

Mr. Reporter, why is there nothing in your article about the Rep from the Tucson Crew, going to the bank to collect $2.00 bills for the DQ payoff? Seems to me that that would be the most important part of the equation.

I would think if DQ cost $2.00 last year; with gas and all going up that makes everything else go up; DQ may be costing about 2.35 this year. Bring all your change with you...

12 April, 0712. Most of the crud cleaned off the car and short one fender spat but full of oil and gas. Countdown to launch commencing.
Just wish I could eat ice cream...

Guys,
I just read HPdrifters account of the mayhem this morning. God, I hope everyone is OK.
Three Cobras in two incidents? Sure hope Stuart is OK.
Who else's car got involved with the SUV while trying to help out?
Sorry to hear this sort of thing happening
