Do you guys meet weekly?
I am sure this is an old question - - - I will be in Phoenix for Spring Break and was wondering if you guys meet weekly for breakfast, etc. as we do in the Bay Area or if you have any events going on the week of 4/5-4/12? We arrive and depart on the respective Saturday afternoons.
Thanks - Tom

Tom, we have our annual picnic on April 5th. See here: AZ Cobras under upcoming events. We on the NW side meet every Tuesday night at 5 N Diner 75th Ave and Bell Rd. We also have a Cruise-in every Sat night at 83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant Pkwy. Arizona On Going Cruises, Cruise-Ins and Get Togethers look under Sat and Tuesday in Peoria.

Tom,
There is no regular weekly breakfast meeting. To many of like to sleep in on the weekends. As Bob says some of us meet on a regular schedule. There is another group that attends the PAV cruzin in Scottsdale on Sat. Nites.

Bob and Mike,
Thanks for the quick response - Arizona is really organized. We don't land until 2 PM on Saturday so I will miss the 10 AM gathering on the 5th. Tuesday night and the Saturday Cruise are very real possibilities and/or the Firehouse event on the 12th as we don't leave until that afternoon. I wish I could pack my car in my suitcase but our rental car will have to do. Now I must convince the wife that the vacation is not just another reason to enjoy Cobra's - she's actually real good about it.
See you in a month± - Tom

If you are staying in Scottsdale you should go to the pavillions on Saturday after the plane. There are usually 3-400 nice cars there at the McDonald's.
It is here:

Looks like Tom will still be in SF on March 15th, but I will be there to check out the show.
Will be getting away from the Chicago winter weather from March 12th till the 19th.

Back in town for Winter Break
We will be back in town 12/19-12/26 to soak up some of your warm sunshine. Other than PAV on Saturday night (only one Cobra there last spring - missed winning the Mustang by one number ) will you guys be getting together anywhere close to Scottsdale during that week?

How about a replay of Karl's burnout. All that Marine could do was smile the rest of the day Karl. Good job

Hey Tom, I was there last month driving with this bunch, what a great time! I am back in Chicago, this morning shoveling snow in 18 degree weather while my Cobra is sitting in a Maricopa garage, warm but lonely.
I would ask you to take her out for some exercise, but I know that Blue Cobra owners like you would never be caught driving a Red one.
I had planned to be there in 3 weeks for the rest of the winter but it looks like I may miss that chance. My wife needs to get a knee replaced here in Feb., which is going to put the kabash on my winter driving plans for now.

I do wish you would not talk about how cold you are. I'm sitting here in "t" shirt & sweats (a/c running), reading your reply. Now I have to go get a coat on just because of you!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear about your wife. I wish there was a way to get that operation taken care of here. That way while she was laid up we could go play. (don't tell her I said that, she won't make me any more egg rolls). Let me know how it goes.
Keep in touch & try not to freeze.

Mike and Tom,
I told her you guys had some real good mechanics down there. Hell, from the excellent craftsmaship I've seen on some of those builds, there shouldn't be any problem replacing a lousy knee!
She wouldn't hear any of that, typical woman!
