Photos from Kirk's Sportsgrill
Guys, I've been asked by the ladies who helped us with the photos from Saturday, if they can get copies of all of the photos taken. Kirk is going to share his photos with me and I, in turn, will share them with everyone.
If you will email your photos to me at danr55@msn.com, I'll put together a photoshow of all of the pictures and share them with everyone. If you have questions, please call me. 480-628-4045.
Thanks.

I never could figure out why the rollbar on your car is so low. Now I understand why! Those pictures are too revealing. More please!

Skip, The roll bar is that low so that the hard top will fit over it... also..
(That one didn't work. See the post down 5 positions for a link to the Photoshow.)
Check out the photoshow at that web site..

I personally like the white car with the grey door. What is that, some sort of trick carbon fiber? Seems like both doors and the hood were like that. Must be some secret, high tech, go fast panels. Right?

Karl, YOu don't recognize Urban Camo when you see it? That's the rage with the liberal "down south" crowd...(that was a shot John)
Would someone please try to access the photoshow and see if it plays?
Thanks,

Low-blow Karl, I have been working on this Cobra for two years now ( except for the off-road incident) and I feel that I am progesssing.( albet slowly). What a piece of junk it was when I bought it with 13 miles on it and drove it 2,200 miles home. But I digress, you know the story. Hopefully someday mine will look and perform half as well as yours. Re. the carbon fiber, I do have a new blank dash and I have redesigned the instrument placement so that I will ( in the near future) be able to read the instruments ( all new) and get back to really enjoying driving the Cobra. I'll be on the track at the WSCB in May and let you know how it performs. Which brings up another question, how come there are only three guys from Phoenix goin to the WSCB ? You guys are missing a real Cobra experience. The WSCB is the PREMIER event in our area of the USA.

How many are going from Tucson?
For me, Limited over night funds. So, I spend them where Ginny and I will have the most fun. Some day I'll make it to WSCB. No track time for me. Been there done that. Did not really like it.

Hey Mikiec, I am the only one going from Tucson ( again). The WSCB is kinda' neat because it is limited to 200 cars. We have gotten to know each other over the last three years. Sort of like the Laughlin trip but larger. My wife flies and I drive, that works for both of us. I am really sold on this gathering, I think that both you and Ginny would enjoy meeting new "car" guys and gals. The only down side is that it uses three days of vacation time and puts almost 2,000 miles on the Cobra. The drive home is a one day long haul, fast, boring, quick drive. You'll sleep very good that night. You should consider the WSCB next year instead of Knotts.

I still like an idea, if you are going to spend money overnighting etc to get everyone together in Phoenix and go to bonderant course for the day amd not in the summer. Bondurant could be there himself and all that noise...instuction. It would be a great time.
