Oh Boy, I don't know if you want Chris coming to AZ. He might just start a never ending party, then where would we all be? Chris has a reputation you know. LOL

You all down there in the heat can poke fun at us Northern folks, but we can water our lawn when we want.

Yeah, it gets chilly here, but we can go out and sit in our cars in the summer and not have to run to the hospital for third degree burns from the seats.

See you there Chris.

Talking about Michigan being "chilly" is like talking about Pheonix being "warm". They both go about one quarter of the way to the truth. I hear the water up there is so hard in the winter time that you can hurt yourself with it.

Lawn ? What is a lawn ? Is that like snow ? A four letter word that we don't use. We can sit in our Cobras in the summer, as long as we parked it in the shade. Don't touch the steering wheel, that can hurt. Two years ago April I left Lambertville, MI and it was 26 degrees, I drove south to Dayton where it had warmed up to 29 degrees, then west to Indy and a nice warm 32 degrees. When I reached OKC that evening it was 62 and I was loving it. No top, no heater, no worries. If you can't take the three months of heat in Arizona then accept the five months of winter in Michigan. By the way, Michigan is a great state to visit, but I'm too old to live there.

Mike, send him the picture of the Payson area few years back when the entire area was on fire as you drove though. Remember the devil sitting on the side of the road laughing. That women in her cobra wearing the straw hat was on fire! Maricopa...those good old sand storms, just like the desert in a heavy storm. Tune up those air conditioners before it gets hot. 130 degrees is not far fetched....Al Gore global warming prediction for AZ. It gets so hot here your lips swell up and burst while you are driving.

Fitz, November though March sounds REAL good to be in the Phoenix area, that's when you don't do a damn thing in the Midwest.
Around here you have a decent driving season from May through September, at rare times you'll get a few good days in October and extremely rare in November.
It's a long way to pull a trailer with the Cobra but worth it to be able to drive year round. Sounds to me like the best of two worlds.

Chris, if I had your money I would! I don't know of shipping it at a reasonable rate, the car hauler guys I talked to wanted around a buck-a-mile. That's about $3600. round trip.

Wow, That is expensive.

I guess a trailer and take your time getting there and back.

Since you're semi ret___ded, I mean retired you can make a couple of stops. It could turn out to be a different adventure every year. That would be fun.

Always good conversations with the voices in your head too. LOL

Have you looked at trailers yet?

When Ralph was single, he keep the expenses down by only dating homeless women; that way he could drop them off "anywhere" after the date!

Hey Ralph, I don't know you but with such friends, (Chris and Saw) who need enemies???
I don't blame you for wanting to escape.

Ralphie,
You and I are old enough to know there ain't no free ride!
First you may have to change your name when the "Red Snake"
fades from the hot sun. Pink snake?? There are fire ants and killer bees!
There are creepy crawlies that climb in to your side pipes and shoes.
You can burn your hands and your head and worse from the hot sun.
I last drove the first week of December. You can put the down time to
good use with maintenance and up grades.
I'm ready to cruise again, but whats this? IT'S SNOWING AGAIN???
Can you look for a place for me? I'm going too! What does Blue fade to?
Congratulations my friend.........

Ralph, I have a solution for you. Buy a Cobra just for Arizona and keep the other one in Chicago. I am sure that you have thought about a Cobra with a different engine or interior, or new color of paint. Think of the freedom that you'll have by owning two Cobras.
