So did you get the chocolates I sent to the hospital... Oh, that's right we did not know you were in.

Good luck on a speedy recovery.

Criminy Dave!

What are you trying to do get the record for the most medical procedures in the group? Man oh man...

Just sing out if you need anything, I am not that far away and can get you and Gloria groceries or whatever over the weekend. Buy a lotto ticket, I feel that your luck is about to change...;)

cdnus 03-27-2008 05:42 PM

David
Good to hear all went well.:):)
I had two 100% blockages:( done in Nov. 07 & I am still in the process of re-hab & doing very well. If I can help with any info or you need to bounce anything off someone who's been there, don't hesitate to PM me.
The MOST important thing for the next 3 months is lots of rest & do not try to lift anything even though you feel you are ready to.

Get well
Craig

I think I live closer than anyone. If you need anything let me know. I'm 4 minutes away (8 miles) and can wake the neighborhood with the Carbon car.

David, Lots of R&R for a while then get the rest fixed. Glad you are recovering.

I'll help push the chair at the picnic and I promise not to push it into the lake.

DonC 03-27-2008 06:25 PM

Dave:
Been there on the heart surgery. Good luck on the recovery and don't overdo it. I ended up going back to work after 4 weeks and the first week was 1/2 days. Wanted to go back after 3 weeks but the Dr. said no. Very glad he did.
Learn to keep your chest pillow close and by all means, DON'T sneeze unless you're sitting down. Don't ask me how I know.
Nothing but good thoughts for a rapid recovery.

Don,
the fist time I sneezed a vision of the movie ALIEN popped into my mind.
I will never forget that feeling.

I just ran and took another Lipitor; OK I took two lipitor for good measure.
Can I have your car?
Take it easy and have a nice glass of red wine.....

John-Tucson 03-27-2008 10:10 PM

Hi Dave, does this mean that you won't be able to attend the "Challenge" in April ? Kidding aside, I hope that you listen to all of the good advise that has been offered. You are a special guy, listen to the guys and the doctors. See you soon.

Slither 03-27-2008 10:31 PM

David, take care of yourself. The Pavillions would never be the same without you! No wonder I haven't heard any good jokes lately!!!

Old Phart 03-28-2008 05:45 AM

Welcome home, Dave. I was wondering how you were doing. I'm still sick, but expect to be at the PAV in a couple of weeks to see you. Maybe I'll have Sherry come by your house tomorrow and pick up your Daytona Coupe because she really wants to learn how to drive a stick shift car.

Bill

Karl Bebout 03-28-2008 08:27 AM

Dave, its all becoming clear now. The impending blockages obviously caused the visions of brown animals which forced you to drive your coupe into the mountainside. Yep, must be the answer.
Glad you're doing well.

davids 03-28-2008 10:08 AM

That's Ok Bill....you Guys Can Come By Anytime....hope You're Feeling Better..dave
