Supercharged motor in and first start!
I hope to be part of AZ Cobra Club events soon. I thought I may have the car in Feb but now looks like end of April. The good thing is the paint is done and from this stage its recarpet, finish odds and ends then the body mounts again!
This car has sat for 5 years and it now coming together. Mark Dougherty has been doing the work to complete the car where I left off and fix several of my novice mistakes. I really like the clean look he has done!
This is the first time the engine has ran since 2002, I once had it running before I lost my head and bought the supercharger.

I love that supercharger! But I think the positive gains may be offset by your exaust "j" pipe setup.

Mike, very cool set-up! The blower will get a lot of attention and added performance. Looking forward to seeing your car sometime. I'm going to try to attend the route 66 event in may.
Best regards, Bill

looks amazingly simple to do. Almost as simple as a manifold change. Too bad I don't think it would fit under my hood.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to have longer video today.
The Route 66 event may be the first I can attend. I should have the car and time to find the first gremlins.
The setup was easy to do, but required many changes to the original setup. I had the car running once with a RPM manifold and Holley 670 street avenger with Ford Duraspark and a converted in tank EFI fuel pump
I bought the blower in 2002 and did the simple piece (manifold change and bolt on). The rest led me to down a more complicated path and I eventually stopped working on the car for other reasons.
I converted to a manual fuel pump (change timing cover, get eccentrics, new larger fuel line, change gas tank pick up
I ditched the Duraspark and went with MSD components all around ( rewire all ignition)
I needed a new pulley setup, the alt was on the side with the blower pulley. (very frustrating experience)
I bought a new bigger carb (BIGGS holley 750)
So many things changed due to this one small item. I’ll add the J pipes to a future wish list, for now I’m very happy to have it run again and close to finished! BTW it does fit in under a hood in the FFR
