Fitz, Tan Man,
We could leave and go up to Cottonwood and visit the Alancantara Winery, doubble back thru Jerome and then to Ash Fork?? The drive would be very nice and it is not that far out of our way? We would need to leave because I know of 3 other winery's in the area and we would never make it if we stopped at all of them
Let us know....

I will not get lost, been there before....
It is very nice the only draw back is it has a dirt road entry way... But if Fits has his SUV he can shuttle us in and we can leave our cars on the pavement which is near a Good Sam camp ground, matter of fact I think they have parking by the gard shack which would be perfect. The winery has excellent vintage, just like our cars......
Sound like a GO!
Fits chime in and seal the deal!

Leaving Early
Drivng the Cobra. Sounds / looks like we will be with main group. Bringing a guess from Chicago so Wifey wants to show her the back way drive with the group I guess. Could all change but for now it appears that way.

Fitz...
Some of the group want to go straight to Flagstaff and then turn left.
I still prefer the back way.

Well with that said what time is the back way group leaving? Barb wanted to go to Sleigman (spelling ) on Friday before it gets packed with cars on Saturday.
Tan Man you still up for a two car break-away and leaving a littel earlier? We could still go by the winery but our cars will be dirty.....
Ahhh all the time and no plan......

MIkie, Is anyone going by regular car who could provide transport for a blind lady while I fly to Los Angeles and pick up my new Cobra and drive it back Friday to meet everyone in Williams that night? Linda will be in Arizona and would like to go, but I'll be in LA. Need some help with this one.
Thanks,

Dan,
When is Linda coming out? Ginny says if it's Thursday she could get her and Linda can spend the night here. Linda and Keith are taking their 06 Mustang and she could ride with them.

I am 98% sure we will leave with the 10AM group and go the back way. We want Jo's sister to take it all in.

Jeez Dan, already got a new one to pick up. I languish in the " waiting for parts cost list from Anthem Motors" before any determination of what will happen. The body pieces can be purchased, but its all the little stuff that will add up. They haven't even taken apart anything yet to look further at frame or any other structure untill they know where they are at cost wise. Don't know who is luckier- you with a new one or me sitting here waiting. I could sit here for awhile and then be told it will be totaled or wait months for the fix. The empty spot in garage is SAD Have fun on the drive back.

That's too bad Jeff. The bottom line for repairs on mine was $54K+. That was providing they could find a body for it.. Guess I'm lucky is one respect, but I'd still rather have my car back. I understand the "sad spot in the garage" analogy.

Wow, nice car Dan. I am proud of you. A Big Block too! 4speed with 356 gear. Cruising will be at higher rpm. Paint and pipes look great. Engine compartment looks well thought out. Good going. I'll bet you can't wait. See you Friday night.
I've got a dollar for you.
