Karl!
Don't think I've seen you post since since Sat. Did they throw away the key? Do you need bail money? Hope everything's OK.

They probably impounded the car for being a cobra imposter. They probably put Karl in the pokey for poor choice of motors.

Yep, probably right Mikie. Bas-ackward motor in Cobra, that's a violation of vehicular code 36-24-36D if I'm not mistaken

Hey there, I didn't want want to respond on the wreck thread since my little misfortune was about as significant as a pimple on a gnat's azz, compared to problems Stewart, Dan, and Jeff have. I got dinged for 65 in a 55 by Officer Friendly. I must say that I was lucky enough that the officer sited me with a code that would not give me any points or record for my insurance. The fine is also only $37, about $100 less than the "bad" citation for the same infraction. 30 years in AZ without any tickets, and here now, I've received TWO Good Driver's Awards in the last three weeks. ARGH! I just went to traffic school last week for, GASP!, failure to signal.

Karl, There is nothing insignificant about colored lights in the rear view mirror.. that is provided you had it up. Did you have it up? I'm glad you got officer Friendly and not Officer Ahole. After this is all behind us and we're all back on the road, we'll have to park the cars and drink lots of beer and laugh about this last weekend. That day will come....I know it will.

Karl? Did you happen to see my hat while you were on the road and obeying the limits?

Mikie was it black with a mesh back?
Pam and I drove past one just past the tunnel (Globe side) on the way up.

Mikiec, is that what I ran over? I knew I hit something that made a crackling sound from all the dried sweat. Danr, After fighting with the suction cup mirror, I got a clamp on from West Marine. Its certainly not spiffy but I can see the pretty flashing lights, and Fords, behind me.

Yes,
It was black and mesh. Got a real big cross wind and the hat left. Karl, Check your tires as the crunchy stuff may have cut them.
