Karl
So what did you finally decide to do with you're garage?
Couldn't get the rear brakes to stop from locking before the fronts. That was the reason for the slip and slide going to Globe.

I'd go, but I'd get really tired running down the hiway.. I guess it's off for this weekend Mike. If I get my car back on Thursday as promised, I'll be up for a run next Saturday or Sunday though... Maybe both days....work permitting.

Funny you should say that, Mike. I'll be in MO. on Monday. I understand that St. Louis is great this time of year.

It looks like I will be on wheels again on Friday. Anyone up for breakfast on Saturday in Pine or Flagstaff?

I heard there is a large rodeo going on this weekend, could be crowded especially on the way back when everyone is leaving the grounds or going in. Also on the way back be carefull there have been up to 6 highway patrols lurking south of the turn off to saguaro. Saw as many as 4 vehicles pulled over, two weekends in a row.
Be safe.

Brian, Make a reasonable offer and it's yours.
SBK, Thanks for the tip. Where's Dave and Karl when you need someone to act at a pathfinder?
Anyone interested in a run Sunday? If not up the rim, maybe to Tortilla Flat or Globe? Pine for breakfast sounds best though..

I'd be up for a run to Payson, etc. Talked to Pink and he may be game too.
Now if the weather will just co-operate!

I believe we're in luck. Looks like the rain should clear this morning and the roads should be dry, if cool in the mountains, tomorrow. I'd say the same station at the usual 8:30 departure time? How does that sound?

All you late sleepers missed a fine ride to Pine for breakfast yesterday. The Pinkster, Dan, Francois (sp?), Melissa and I had a heck of a time. Pink and I even got to do some laps looking for Dan.
Dan did you get any pics downloaded yet?

Nah, he pulled over after hearing a bang under the car. Turned out be nothing but Pink and I went on ahead a few miles to a turn-around and doubled back, only to pass him going the other way and having to double-double back.
