las vegas cobra wreck
Just saw on the news the red cobra wrecked in vegas. I don't remember the owners name. They said that the two are ok. It was a good wreck split the cobra in half behind the seats. I think it was the one that was in the henderson parade car show last month. Give us a shout and let us know how you are.

Ouch.....makes you wonder about the type of frame and what would have happened if it was a maxie strength frame that wouldn't break right there....the consequences could have been much difference and not necessarily in a good way. Main thing is all are safe. Hope recover is speedy for all.

James, any idea who that is? Looks to be red with yellow or gold stripes, I think.

wreck
No I don't think I know who it is .After looking I don't think it is the one in the Henderson parade last month that one has red/white stripes and only one chrome rollbar.but their was a grey/light grey stripes one that hit in the front some time ago. The owner bought a rolling chassis and he switched everything over it has a SB427 and just now blew a head gasket so its out again.Don't no the person just from people I know.

Now it's been a while since I've been to Vegas, but isn't 100mph on the strip a little over the top!

It happened on Sunset, east of town. I still can't find many details on it.

Another "Insurance-on-the-rise" incident.

It is not a rental. It is privately owned and the owner has never been on the forum..........

He got what he deserved, especially if he really was drinking. Too bad another vehicle was involved.

No matter what the cause, the results were very bad in the since that a great car was destroyed and two people could have been killed.
If booze was part of the cause....perhaps they should send him over to Arizona to spend so time in Sherriff Joe's tent city rest home. A little hot sun and hard work might keep this guy on the "straight and narrow path to good Cobra preservation" in the future.

Maybe he heard the theory that snakes regenerate themselves if they are cut in two and really wanted another Cobra?

Just another name on the list of people who shouldn't own/drive Cobras.

Has anyone considered that perhaps he was not drunk or driving over 100 mph? When was the last time the news got something wrong?

Good points...I doubt anyone clocked him, so how would they know? Oh yeah, eye witnesses. And if the other driver or even a passenger had had a drink, the "was alcohol involved" box will get checked. That's how they get the statistic that over 50% of accidents involve alcohol.
I would just like more facts, and forget about the condemnation.
