Retired One,
Now watch, it will be cold and rainy. One of those strange climate change things we are all use to. But who cares, I got a top!

We're going and I'd like to go up early. Maybe head out of Phx around 8am or even earlier. There's got to be stuff to do up there till we can check in.

Only wimps leave that early. Do you want to be in the same class as Karl? Not me.
I figure I'll leave around 10 to 11am. Drive up like real men not floozy women.

Dan our reservations are for the 4th and 5th so we'd be going up Fri morning.
Mikie only mad dogs and Englishmen drive in the midday sun!

Mikie, you'll never be "in the same class as Karl", unless you come to your senses and put a fine fine Chevy engine in your car. Oh, wait, I remember now, you don't like to go fast....

My buddy and I will be going up Friday morning, probably leaving God's Country about 8. (my sweetie will be in Jacksonville, again) No Devil Child with me for the parade this year. Are we going to meet at Christopher Creek for lunch again this year? If so, I'll still leave Mesa early, get up to Heber and then maybe take a spin up to Strawberry to kill some time, burn up some more fossil fuel, and enjoy the cooler temperatures. Then, we'll head for back down to CC, if that's the plan.

OK. Friday morning it is. Where is a good place to leave from? I have a new idea. There is a shell station in Fountaintucky, on Shea just off of the B-Line. It would be a novel gathering place if anyone from the far side is coming along that early.
I haven't heard from anyone about needing a room. We still have a couple at the shack.

Has Creekside opened back up in Christopher Creek? I was thinking that there was only the one restaurant left. Even if Creekside was opened back up, I'd hate to take a chance on them after how bad our last experience there was. 12:30 sound OK?

What about some place in the Heber area? The last few experiences in Christopher Creek were, how shall I say, Suckky.

Dan what about the Shell station in Fountainburg? I've always wanted to try that one out.

Ginny and I are planning on being at the Shell about 10am.
We can meet you early birds at the Motel around noon for lunch. The Red Onion sounds good.
